Reviews: Kinabalu Park & Poring Hot Spring 1-Day Shared Tour
Guest User2026-10-10
The guide was good and attentive, and the transfers were on time. The lunch was good, but I have some questions about the program. Kinabalu National Park was advertised; in fact, it was the park, not the actual park itself, but the botanical garden. I was more interested in seeing the route through the park than the trees in the garden. Overall, it's best to book this tour on-site through an agency, as agency guides typically lead tours of the park, not the garden.

Reviews: Kinabalu Park, Poring Hot Spring & Desa Dairy Farm Shared Day Tour

The Handsome Jeff Tan is a wonderful person to be our local tour guide cum chauffeur. He is knowledgeable of the places where we visited. He was energetic during the trip, capable of finding short-cut country roads when there were traffic jams at main roads. He drove for day and night without feeling tired!

Reviews: 1-day tour to Sabah royal bay sky mirror mangrove | proboscis monkeys and fireflies/private small group optional

It's a pity we didn't get to see the animals up close this trip, but seeing the fireflies at night was incredibly romantic! Our guide, my cousin, gave us so many surprises! He was incredibly thoughtful and attentive, bringing a small speaker to play music the whole way, making the trip relaxed and enjoyable. At the beach, he even offered to take amazing photos for us; his photography skills are superb, and he knows exactly how to frame the shots. Overall, I highly recommend the experience!

Reviews: Sabah Kawa Mangrove Forest Day Trip [Small group tour available | Mosque | Proboscis monkeys and fireflies]
Guest User2026-10-10
The overall itinerary was rich and fulfilling, though the journey was quite long. Upon arrival at the pier, we first watched a special performance, then headed to find proboscis monkeys, followed by a breathtaking sunset and a spectacular display of metalwork. After returning to the pier for dinner, we set off in the evening to search for fireflies. We were very lucky; we successfully saw proboscis monkeys, proboscis monkeys, and fireflies – a truly rewarding trip. The only minor drawback was the limited time for water exploration. Our boat only circled the main channel, and while we saw other boats venturing into deeper waters, we couldn't go as far as we wanted, which was a slight disappointment.
