Reviews: Dubai desert dune bashing 1-day tour [viral desert camp + sunset + camel ride + shows + dinner]
Guest User2026-11-01
I had an amazing time on this Dubai desert safari tour. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe, comfortable, and well taken care of throughout the whole trip. A very special thanks to our driver and guide, Irfan. He was exceptionally helpful, polite, and attentive from start to finish. He made sure everyone was comfortable and helped take great pictures during our stops. The dune bashing was thrilling, skillful, and absolutely great. At the desert camp, the live performances were entertaining and fun to watch. The food was very generous in portion, tasty, and satisfying. Everything was well-organized and worth it.

🏜️ An unforgettable desert safari! We went on a desert safari and had a fantastic experience! Everything went wonderfully: excellent organization, an engaging trip, and a wonderful atmosphere. I'd especially like to mention our driver—he was very attentive, polite, and professional. We felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire trip. We were also very lucky with our passengers—they were a fun and pleasant group, which made the trip even more exciting 😊 In the evening, we enjoyed a delicious barbecue dinner and a vibrant live show—dancing, music, and a true oriental evening atmosphere ✨ We loved it! A great way to see a different side of Dubai and experience a truly unforgettable experience. I definitely recommend it! ❤️🇦🇪

Reviews: Dubai Desert 1-day Tour [City Hotel Transfer + Camel Riding Experience + Camp Dinner + Show]
Guest User2026-01-10
After booking, the tour group and guide will contact you via WeChat and WhatsApp, which is very convenient. In the morning, the guide will drive directly to the hotel to pick you up, and then you'll rest and have something to eat at the meeting point. Then, the guide and some shops will start pushing various sales pitches (desert off-road vehicles, various drinks and food). However, there is no forced consumption, so it's acceptable. Then, you'll drive to the desert for dune bashing. I suggest not eating too much before dune bashing, or you might really throw up. After dune bashing, you'll stop in the desert for a while to take photos. The first thing you see when you arrive in the desert isn't endless sand, but endless cars... various commercial activities, followed by another round of sales pitches (eagle photos, sandboarding...). Some passersby tried to sell me sandboarding, but I found out that sandboarding is free if you hire your own guide. Be careful not to get ripped off. After playing for a while, the guide will take us to a nearby place to fill up the gas tank and inflate the tires. Then, they'll ask if we need to use the restroom because it's an hour's drive to the camp. Then, when we go to the restroom, we'll be bombarded with sales pitches from various shops and passersby (souvenirs, various food and drinks, coconut juice...). After driving to the camp, the guide will take us to take photos of the desert sunset, which is very beautiful. Then, at the camp entrance, as expected, there was a huge wave of sales pitches (paid horseback riding, camel riding). Horses are fine; you can ride them anywhere. Camels are available for both free and paid rides. The free ones are inside the enclosure where you can sit and take photos. Of course, the camels won't stand up; take it or leave it, nobody cares. The paid camel ride initially cost me 60 dirhams, but after some haggling, I got it down to 50, and finally 40. The paid camel ride was definitely much better for photos, and the results were much more professional. It felt worthwhile. The vendor will lead the camel for a short walk, taking photos and videos for you. After that, you enter the camp. Remember to bring extra clothes, otherwise it gets very cold at night. Inside the camp, if all goes well, there will be another round of sales pitches (pay extra for VIP seats, hookah, souvenirs, alcohol). There are also free videos available, and food and performances at the end of the day.

Reviews: VIP Desert Safari Dubai, Camel Riding, Quad Biking, Sandboarding & BBQ Buffet Dinner
Guest User2026-08-05
We had a brilliant experience with the company. Messaged me before hand saying what time he would arrive. Arrived on time. Shamraiz took us sand bashing, it was a thrilling experience. My older sister and 17 yr old nephew loved this excursion as part of his birthday treat. Camel riding afterwards, and sand boarding afterwards, I attempted to stand up and sand board. It ended with four different live shows, buffet and unlimited drinks. Free henna and your option of having shisha. You get driven back to your hotel. Worth the money.

Pros: Excellent guide, punctual, took my request into account, and drove carefully. The quad bike ride was a lot of fun (250 AED). The tour cost 130 AED for two people, a good price for this adventure. Cons: The jeep rides through the dunes are very short, less than 5 minutes. We weren't allowed to take photos in the desert. While we were climbing the mountain for photos, the jeep arrived, but we couldn't get a single photo. The desert isn't exactly a desert; it's just bushes and trees. The promised golden dunes aren't there. The wait for the show and dinner is very long, about 1.5 hours. The VIP area costs 50 AED per person, but there is WiFi and dinner is served a little earlier. I recommend this tour.
