Reviews: Private Mumbai Sightseeing Tour with Local English Guide

Where do I begin?! Chirag designed a private tour for us and oh my goodness, what a day! We got up at 5 am to get to the wholesale flower market and the fruit & vegetable markets. Wow! A feast for the eyes! Sassoon Dock in the early morning is also a must-see. It's right up there with the flower, fruit & veg markets. Because it was a public holiday therefore not terribly busy on the trains, Chirag took us for a short train ride on a whim, just for something different. Dhobi Ghat, the open air laundry - another highlight! Chor Bizarre was an eye-opening experience because there is a sea of second-hand tools, car parts, appliances, plus a whole lot more. We visited the Dharavi slums last. Words cannot describe this part of Mumbai, and photos could never do justice to what all your senses experience. This tour is the best I've ever done so a big thank you to Chirag and also our driver, Pranav. What an amazing adventure!

Everything was amazing. Subhan was our guide and explained stiff very clearly and is a great conversationist. Really recommend to get him if you can.

Reviews: Mumbai: Dharavi Slum, DhobiGhat, and Dabbawallas Tour

This is a tour I highly recommend, as it gave us a lot of insight into life in Dharavi. Dhobi Ghat was also really worth seeing and interesting, especially since this time we weren’t just looking in from the observation deck. Thanks to perfect time management, we also made it to the Dabbawallas on time. An all-around successful and highly recommended tour!

A local guide leads you through a tour of Mumbai's city center, providing detailed explanations; it's definitely worth taking.
