There are three ways to get to Mangshan Wuzhifeng: self-driving, taxi, or a day trip organized by a travel agency. Since we were from out of town, we chose the third option. We met at the meeting point in the morning (in front of the bank in Figure 1). The journey was over 100 kilometers, but it took us less than two hours to reach the scenic area. Tickets can be booked at the travel agency along with the transportation fee, or you can buy them at the ticket window after getting off the bus. I had the tour guide book for me on the bus, hehe. The travel agency gave us less than 4.5 hours to explore. Mangshan is divided into three levels, about 8 kilometers in total. As long as you don't linger too long eating or eating at the restaurants on the mountain, the time is enough. However, for those with mobility issues, the time might not be enough, or they might skip the third level and descend after the second, as most of the scenery is concentrated on the second level. The tour guide arranged by the travel agency sent a message the evening before, and we could communicate via text message. On the bus, the tour guide, Mr. Huang, was a nice person, providing clear and complete explanations and covering all the important points. Each person was given a bottle of water, and the guide also went up the mountain with us. Mangshan is beautiful, but unfortunately, we were completely lost on the third level and couldn't see anything. I got back to the city center a little before six o'clock, just in time to have dinner and replenish my energy.
