It was a bit difficult for the taxi driver to find the place. The decoration, performance, and meals were excellent.

Reviews: Chongqing | QING YU YAN - Immersive experience of a noble imperial banquet from a thousand years ago - Hanfu performance + cuisine

A must-see! We were in the second row, and everything was perfectly visible. Our ticket included changing into Hanfu. Hair styling was an additional 100 yuan. We didn't get makeup, although other visitors did. You need to arrive early to change into Hanfu and take photos.

Reviews: Chongqing Qingyu Banquet · Palace Cuisine Show | Immersive imperial banquet in Chongqing, ancient costume experience with court music and dance + photo ops in traditional attire

As mentioned in my previous review. The food was fresh. Performances are good but not as great as I had in Chengdu. If you opt for makeup and dress up, come 2-3hours early so that you got sufficient time for photoshoot with your friends. I enjoy the RMB50 performance at the end of the banquet.

Reviews: Chongqing | Immersive royal palace banquet · Enjoy cuisine and performances · Chongqing Qingyu Banquet · Palace Cuisine Show

I loved it! We went to this immersive banquet in Chongqing, and it was truly extraordinary. You sit at a long table, surrounded by scenes from ancient times, music, dancing, swords—everything right in front of you. Food is brought out for each performance, and it's not so much what you eat that matters as the overall setting. It felt like you were not just a spectator, but a participant in some ancient feast. It lasted about two hours, and it flew by. The only thing is, it's best to get seats closer to the stage; from the back rows, you can't really see the details. Overall, if you're looking for an evening of experiences, not just a dinner, I highly recommend it; we were very pleased.
