Reviews: Kyoto: Hidden Mountains of Kurama & Kibune Guided Hike
Guest User2026-10-16
Chris was an amazing guide! I am so thrilled we did this activity. My mother has learnt reiki and I decided to sign up for this activity to take her to the Kurama temple and while my parents (in their 60s) found themselves huffing and puffing a little bit here and there they managed to get through the hike without much difficulty. Chris was incredibly kind and patient with all of us, very engaging and very knowledgeable. He also made sure we took adequate breaks. We had a ton of fun with him- really felt like hanging out with an old friend. This is also an underrated place to visit in Kyoto - it gives a glimpse of the lovely mountains, a little bit of history and culture and both the shrine and temple genuinely are beautiful and worth the visit!

Reviews: Kyoto: Kurama Onsen Entry Ticket with Set Meal
Guest User2026-10-23
This place provides an open air bath which is very quiet and pleasant. The food is tasteful specially charcoal grilled meat. The bar is also very good. A cold bath at 15 degrees would be an ultimate experience. After the Kibune Kurama hike it is perfect.

Reviews: 1-Day Tour for Good Fortune: Katsuo-ji + Sanda Premium Outlets + Arima Onsen Town|Small group (9 people)
Guest User2026-10-20
Everything was as advertised on Ctrip, except that I waited at the hotel entrance until 8 a.m. and still no car came to pick me up. Fortunately, I contacted Ctrip customer service, and Mr. Chen Xiaolong, a dedicated after-sales representative, handled my situation. Mr. Chen was incredibly patient, calling multiple times until I was finally able to depart smoothly. I must say, Ctrip's after-sales response was prompt and their processing speed was excellent. Being alone and helpless abroad, every word of comfort from customer service was incredibly heartwarming. Thank you so much!
