Reviews: Kyoto's ancient charm: A day trip to Fushimi Inari Shrine and Nara to feed the deer, with optional small group tours including hotel pick-up and drop-off.

It rained on November 2nd, but it stopped in the afternoon, making it a great day! I had blocked someone on KakaoTalk, so I wasn't invited to the group chat. On the day of the trip, I was shocked thinking my reservation hadn't been booked, but the guide assigned us seats well and provided excellent guidance, so it was great!! Thank you, Guide Oh Seok-bong, for making the trip so entertaining and giving such great explanations. It was a hectic trip taking care of four kids, but I'm glad I booked in advance. The Fox Shrine and Deer Kingdom Park are particularly memorable. If I get the chance again, I would love to travel with Guide Oh Seok-bong once more. If you book this package through Trip, you will create fulfilling and enjoyable memories. Highly, highly recommend it!!

Reviews: [Can be departed from Kyoto or Osaka] A day trip to Amanohashidate in Kyoto, Chion-ji Temple, and Ine Funaya.
Guest User2026-11-05
I was able to comfortably see Amanohashidate, one of the three most scenic spots. The guide was kind, and I really liked that I could feel the pride they took in their work. You should definitely visit. You can go to Amanohashidate and Inefunaya in just one day!

Reviews: Kyoto and Nara Day Tour │ Kiyomizu-dera Temple + Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine + Nara Park
Guest User2026-09-23
The entire itinerary was well-planned, with each segment lasting about an hour, making it very comfortable. The vehicle was in good condition, and the driver/guide were excellent service personnel—polite, courteous, and of high quality. Even at the end of the tour, they never asked for a positive review. Todai-ji Temple in Nara was truly breathtaking; its all-wood structure, unpainted, exudes a strong sense of historical gravitas and is well worth a visit. Fushimi Inari Shrine was just average. Time was a bit tight at the final attractions, such as Gion, but given it was a day trip, it's impossible to see everything. It would have been perfect if the driver/guide had provided brief introductions to each attraction beforehand.

Reviews: Kyoto Amanohashidate + Ine Fishing Village 1-day tour [Includes Amanohashidate cable car ticket and Ine Bay sightseeing boat ticket]
Guest User2026-09-29
Kyoto by the Sea is absolutely gorgeous. A fantastic day trip! It's much cheaper and more convenient than going on your own. It's a bilingual (Chinese and Korean) tour, with about half the passengers being Chinese and half Korean. Our guide, Gu Wenji, was incredibly helpful and patient. Highly recommended!

Guide Oh Seok-bong is the best. I traveled with my daughter and used the one-day tour package, and it was wonderful. I am very grateful for the detailed links to great restaurants you provided, and thanks to your detailed explanations and kind guidance at every move, I will definitely come back with my parents.

The Kansai Wide Area Railway Pass was very convenient. I went to Takayama and Toyama, and explored Kamikochi and Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. It was a very enjoyable trip.
