Hatsune was a wonderful guide. She was funny, friendly and knowledgeable. She went out of her way to ensure we were all happy and taken care of. The trip is a tad over priced for what you actually do and see.

Thank you to the driver for his assistance throughout the day. He was very flexible with the schedule and enthusiastically recommended many attractions and restaurants. Overall, I was very satisfied. I would highly recommend him if you need a private car!

Don't stay in Shirakawa-go for too long; 3 hours is enough. The scenery is beautiful. Also, Wednesdays and Thursdays are their holidays, and the temples there are basically closed. I don't know if the shop owners know this, but they could remind you. Don't eat the takoyaki in the picture; it's terrible, very soft and mushy, and the service is bad too.
