On the day of departure, I made a reservation and then installed the app on my way to the airport. The instructions mentioned using a QR code, but there was an install button on the "Reservation Confirmation" screen, so I simply clicked that and followed the instructions, which made the process incredibly smooth. As an iPhone user, I appreciated the fact that I didn't have to save the QR code on another device or print it out beforehand. All I had to do was restart my device once I arrived in Korea, and the SKT logo would appear immediately. All I had to do was complete online real-name authentication at "https://skroaming.com/passport/" one hour after arriving in Korea, and I'd be able to use voice calls and SMS. (I completely forgot about it and ended up not using it...) Overall, it was a very user-friendly service, so I'll definitely use it again next time!

I joined a cruise trip and stopped in Busan for a day. I bought a one-day eSIM, but it wouldn't work (the first time I successfully transferred the SIM using a QR code, I had no internet access; subsequent transfers failed). I contacted the seller via WhatsApp through someone else's hotspot, and after the seller provided me with another QR code, I was finally able to access the internet.


