📶 eSIM Review: 8-Day Osaka Trip – Very Convenient, No Need to Change SIM Card
For this Osaka trip, I chose an 8-day eSIM for Japan, which was very convenient. I just bought it online, scanned the QR code, and installed it before traveling. Once the plane landed, I could activate it immediately. No need to buy a SIM card at the airport.
While traveling in Osaka, the signal was quite good. I used Google Maps to check train routes, find restaurants, and check train schedules constantly. The internet was quite stable in areas like Namba, Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, and Osaka Castle. The internet speed in major Japanese cities is excellent, usable even in many train and subway stations.
I typically used the following data:
• Opening maps
• Using social media
• Uploading trip photos
1-2 GB per day was sufficient for general sightseeing.

I used it in Osaka, and it worked almost perfectly, but the subway would slow down sometimes. Does anyone know of anyone who lives in the mountains? I stayed there for a day, and it didn't work that well that time either. But overall, it worked well! Highly recommended!!! I'll be using it again when I travel next month.★
