Reviews: Hiroshima & Miyajima 1-Day Bullet Train Tour from Kyoto/Osaka (Also Departs from Hiroshima)

Masako was WONDERFUL!!!! This tour got better and better as it went. Hiroshima and the atomic bomb and what has occurred following was so well explained. A moving, educational and thought provoking experience. Terrific lunch and Miyajima is a place not to be missed. A tour that does not disappoint.

Excellent experience. Both teachers were patient and very good at explaining things. I highly recommend it.

Reviews: Hiroshima downtown nightlife: LAGOON nightclub admission ticket + drinks (exclusive for foreign travelers)

The location was great, being close to the hotel and right in the heart of the entertainment district. The staff were friendly, and even though it was my first time at a club, I was able to fully enjoy the night.

Reviews: JR PASS Kansai & Hiroshima Area Railway Pass 5-Day (electronic tickets require redemption)

We had a bit of trouble figuring out how to activate it (I didn't know if it was only for the green machines, or for all stations—we went to the office specifically, but they sent us to the machine), but we figured it out, and overall, it's convenient. It's great that you can buy in your own currency. The savings compared to paying for each section separately are significant. But you have to calculate it yourself!

The Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum was one of the most moving places I have ever visited. Unlike many museums that simply display history, this museum makes you feel it. Walking through the exhibits, you are confronted not just with facts and photographs, but with the personal stories, belongings, and final moments of ordinary people whose lives were forever changed in an instant. The museum is thoughtfully curated, powerful without being sensational, and deeply human. It serves as a solemn reminder of the devastating consequences of war while carrying a timeless message of peace, forgiveness, and hope. I left the museum in silence, with a heavy heart but a greater appreciation for life, humanity, and the importance of peace. A truly unforgettable experience and, in my opinion, a place everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime.

The Kansai Wide Area Railway Pass was very convenient. I went to Takayama and Toyama, and explored Kamikochi and Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. It was a very enjoyable trip.
