I only discovered the problem with my Vietnam visa when I arrived at the airport. My family had to go ahead while I stayed behind to handle it. I immediately applied for an emergency visa, submitting the application around 8 AM. The seller replied around 9 AM, but because I had to wait for Vietnam to open for business, I didn't receive the visa until almost 11 PM. They were quite professional; they only required providing information and then I just had to wait. However, it was a bit expensive! I strongly recommend checking your visa thoroughly before traveling abroad and dealing with it as early as possible. Same-day expedited processing is ridiculously expensive. But the staff were professional and patient, which eased my anxiety a little.
