Booked this for my cousins and I’ve had their booking amended several times but the support was incredible. Hang made sure we were accommodated properly.

The bus was very clean, nice, and well-maintained. If you're not comfortable with overland travel, it's best to book a lower seat, as the upper seats can be quite bumpy.

We were picked up from our hotel and dropped off at G8 office in Sapa, then transfer to the VIP cabin bus to Hanoi. Upon arriving in Hanoi, we were dropped off at a roadside where we were told to wait for another smaller bus to transfer to our Hanoi hotel. Overall the ride was comfortable, we choose the lower deck compartment. Mr Hang from the service provider was responsive and prompt in answering our questions.

Amenities were basic but it was much cheaper than other train options so it was worth it. We just needed a space to sleep for 4 of us in the same cabin anyway. Would use it again.

The service in Hanoi is very convenient, including a Russian-language audio guide. The route is interesting. It took four hours. It was basically enough for everything: first, we did the full circle, then stopped at three stops for sightseeing. One inconvenience: the first time you have to board the bus, you have to get off at the first stop, near the opera house. There, you have to exchange your trip reservation for a paper ticket.

Bus going to sapa from the airport. There has a delay time during my trip, almost 1hr, but the operator is kind enough to update me every now and then
