I booked a tour through Vietnam. I was the only Chinese person on the bus. The tour guide spoke in English, and I got the gist of it from a few words. The itinerary was a standard tour offered by the company, and Ha Long Bay was quite beautiful. The facilities on the boat were good, and the lunch buffet had a wide variety of choices. The service was also good. It was a shopping stop, but there was no pressure to shop.

I enjoyed the tour, especially the guide Jenna. She explained everything in great detail. We had snacks along the way, and we tried Vietnamese cuisine. We also had a full dinner at a cafe. I think this tour is sufficient for a short stay in Hanoi. I recommend it. Dress warmly in winter; it gets chilly in the evenings.

We were picked up from our hotel promptly in the morning. A minibus carrying 18 passengers departed. The cruise ship was indeed luxurious, with a small pool on the second floor, perfect for the kids to enjoy while cruising. The lunch buffet was quite good, just enough to fill you up. We visited all three attractions. We took a bamboo raft through a cave filled with wild monkeys. It was a good idea to bring some extra fruit with you to feed the monkeys. On the return trip, we enjoyed the sunset and a simple meal before arriving at the pier, where we were picked up by our usual shuttle. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

The most important thing to keep in mind when taking this cruise is that it's not really a cruise. The ship departs from the port and is anchored, and all excursions are on small motorboats. We took a three-day cruise, and it was the best choice. On the first day, we visited popular locations in Halong Bay: 1. Thi Top Island with its observation deck and beach, where we had a wonderful swim, and 2. Sung Sot Cave. On the second day, we transferred to another boat and went to Lan Ha Bay, where it was simply magnificent. There were fewer people. We had a wonderful kayaking trip to Luon Cave, and then swimming in the sea from the ship. We lounged on the deck chairs and sunbathed. The guides were wonderful, caring, and attentive both days. The crew took care of us constantly. The three of us also enjoyed the food; it was plentiful and varied. The only downside was that our cabin didn't have a balcony, but we had to live with it since there were no other three-person cabins available. The transfer was wonderful. This tour was excellent value for money.

We took our parents on a one-day tour to Ninh Binh, and it became one of the most meaningful experiences of our trip to Vietnam. The breathtaking natural scenery brought a deep sense of peace to our hearts, and the warmth and kindness of the Vietnamese people made the experience even more special. Our tour guide, Mr. Minh, was absolutely exceptional — without a doubt the best guide we have ever had. From the very beginning, his warm smile and genuine kindness made us feel comfortable and cared for. His explanations were clear, detailed, and fascinating. His knowledge of Vietnamese history was remarkable; listening to him felt like attending a lesson from a passionate professor who truly loves his country and culture. Thanks to Mr. Minh’s professionalism, patience, and heartfelt care, we were able to relax and fully enjoy every moment of the journey with our parents. He didn’t just guide us — he made us feel at home. Thank you once again, Mr. Minh.


