A fun activity to do in Halifax, but unfortunately no wind so no sailing. A nice, enthusiastic guide with lots of facts about Halifax and the harbor. It says the trip lasts an hour, but in the end we only sailed for 45 minutes. What a shame!

I had a great experience with Sim. I'm a Solo traveler and was luckily the only person on that trip that day. He gave me enough time to take pictures on Peggy's cove and told me so much about the history of Halifax. It was super interesting. He's a great guide!

We were able to safely get into our kayaks from the dock, thanks to the ramp. Our guide, a student, gave us a quick lesson on paddling techniques, especially for when waves come up, as they can be quite a challenge. We paddled to Pier 21 and then on to George Island. The 45 minutes were plenty of time for us novice paddlers. Along the way, our guide told us a bit about the history of Halifax Harbour and the island.

The kayaking tour was so good! Our guide was nice and friendly. We did a two-seated kayak and we did a tour of the tunnels on the island and walk around a bit ourselves. Then the guide let us take some more time just to kayak around the waterfront before ending the tour. A perfect way to discover the island.
