Reviews: Key West Dolphin Watch and Snorkel Tour - Eco Adventure
Guest User2026-02-06
We booked a snorkeling excursion with FURY, one of Norwegian Cruise Line’s shore excursions and the 2025 Travels Choice Award winner for Outstanding Water Adventures in the Keys. FURY has been a staple here for more than three decades, and it shows.
Quick tip: You can book this excursion directly through the FURY website and save some money. However, booking through the cruise line guarantees you won’t be left behind if there’s a delay returning to port. With such limited time in Key West, the extra cost was worth it for peace of mind.
Within minutes, we’re off—along with a boatload of fellow NCL passengers—aboard one of FURY’s catamarans. This is a very popular excursion. Everything you need is provided: snorkeling gear, vests, flotation noodles, and even wetsuits available for rent. FURY also has equipment for all shapes and sizes… including kids!
During the 30-minute ride out to the reef, I chat with Captain Willie about the adventure ahead. Soon enough, it’s time to enter the water. Captain Willie gives us a heads-up—the water is a bit rough and cool, around 70 degrees. But we suck it up and take the plunge!
We’re snorkeling over a portion of North America’s largest living reef. Visibility is pretty good, and the scenery is stunning—sea fans sway harmonically with the current, coral heads rise from the ocean floor, and marine life surrounds us.
As Captain Willie explained, this is the Rock Key Sanctuary, just east of Sand Key. There’s a strictly enforced no-touch, no-take policy, helping preserve this fragile ecosystem. We’re swimming in 10 to 25 feet of water, making it perfect for all skill levels.
Denise points out a yellowtail snapper swimming below us, while another species nibbles at the living coral rock. Even with nearly 100 swimmers on the reef, it somehow feels like we’re all alone—completely immersed in this tropical wonderland. The swaying sea fans are hypnotic.
We give this adventure a big thumbs up as we head back to the Pacific Fury, where Captain Willie gets the party started for the ride back.
It’s been 20 years since we last explored the Florida Keys coral reef, and honestly, it rivals what we’ve experienced in Hawaii and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
If you’re visiting Key West, this is an absolute must-see experience★

Reviews: Speedboat Sightseeing Adventure of Miami
Guest User2024-07-01
Overall it was a good experience for the family and was thrilling at times when the Capt. could safely go full throttle. The ‘tour’ element wasn’t as good as we were hoping mainly because we were certain if said you would go down to South Beach and the guide even said at the start we’ll see the long white sandy beaches of Miami Beach but the furthest we went was to Star Island which is practically no further than the Port of Miami area which must be amazing when there are cruise ships in port but sadly for us there was non. The guide however was knowledgeable, fun and engaging.
Things to be mindful of. They play the music loud. When I say loud I mean over 100 decibels for more than 20 minutes which is actually considered dangerous for human hearing. I’m not being a prude - just stating a fact. I do however a job which is dependent on passing annual hearing tests so I’m probably more acute to things like this than others. Seat belts are provided and despite the extensive waivers you are made to sign there wasn’t much of a safety brief but it did feel safe and secure at all times which was good.
And a plea to the ladies. Please tie your hair up! The rows of seats are close together and for the whole trip I had a lady’s hair hitting me on the face. It was braided Afro hair whipped the side of my face hard at times. This sadly did impact of my personal experience.
It’s a shame Bayside parking is horrendously priced as you can only really access this area by car if you are staying outside downtown but that obviously has nothing to do with the businesses here - just something else you have to factor into your budget (it was $10 an hour).★

Reviews: Miami Biscayne Bay: Sunset Boat Cruise & Millionaire Homes
Guest User2026-10-30
Absolutely fantastic experience, highly recommended! A relaxing and enjoyable cruise around Biscayne Bay, which actually lasted longer than expected! The views were breathtaking, especially the Miami skyline glowing in the sunset, combined with the impressive millionaire mansions along the waterfront. A special shoutout to Ivan “The Terrible,” who was anything but terrible! He was an amazing entertainer and guide, sharing interesting stories, fun facts, and plenty of humor throughout the journey. The perfect combination of relaxation, stunning scenery, and great entertainment. Definitely one of the highlights of our time in Miami and an experience not to be missed!
