I got an e-SIM at home. I flew to Nha Trang and was connected right from the airport. The only inconvenience was that I couldn't activate the connection myself, but a young man nearby showed me how. I had to press the roaming button, but I didn't understand it. Anyway, read the instructions. The connection is stable, I'm happy.

I bought a monthly plan—the connection was excellent in all the cities I visited, including the suburbs. Specifically, I visited Ho Chi Minh City, Da Lat, Nha Trang, Da Nang, and Hanan. It's a great plan! Hotspot access is available, and I even have my own number for receiving calls.
