Reviews: Football Soccer Matchday Experience in México City
Guest User2026-10-15
Our guide was a riot. He had us laughing the entire ride home. He was friendly and moved 21 of us around safely & seamlessly, all by himself. He explained the game, security, chants, etc. we got cool jerseys and had a blast. The seats are high, but not the tip-top. The bus back is a tight squeeze for 2+ hrs with traffic and loud music/party atmosphere, so note that if your group is lively and drinking, it can be loud and fun. We had a young group and a lot of energy and laughter- which wouldn’t be appropriate for younger kids (music, language, jokes) but it’s possible you could have a quiet group, no drinking, subdued behavior. This is what you make of it and I made sure our group bonded before we even boarded the bus down and our diverse group was friendly. The football game itself wasn’t exciting or great, but the atmosphere was fun and it was nice to be with “friends” and not navigate the chaos alone as a visitor. Since it’s the anniversary of the club, we all got free flags!

Ernest, our guide did a fantastic job explaining the different beverages we were tasting, along with the various phrases we could use during the lucha libre along with various good vs evil wrestling characters. Overall our family had a wonderful time.
