It was unforgettable! We booked this excursion, but they didn't confirm the date. They eventually offered us a different date that suited us. They sent us detailed instructions. We arrived on the specified day, and everything was very well organized. There were six tourists and a pilot on the plane. The flight itself was simply amazing, and the pilot explained everything we were flying over. All the staff were extremely polite; they even let us take a photo with the helicopter after the flight, since we were the last ones there. This park also offers additional activities for an additional fee. I went on a zipline – it was great fun. There's a small kiosk with drinks and snacks.

What a super place to visit and the ticket price helps to keep tbe reserve going. Booked tickets for a hike after reading that you could get a short guided tour across the flycatcher walkway, when we got there the lady in the ticket desk actually explained it was a self guided tour but there might be a guide hanging around by the Flycatcher walkway.. She radioed ahead and said if we could be there by 1230 then a guide would help us.. We were really lucky to get Damien as our guide and as it was only me and my husband we could ask him lots of questions.. Damien was such a good guide, very knowledgeable and funny and told us all about Mauritius and it's flora and fauna and how they are trying to rewild indigenous plants at the reserve, if we hadn't have had a guide we would have missed out on so much. Had a lovely hike up the the Ridgeway trail to the lookout which gives some exceptional views of La Morne and Île aux Benetiers and enjoyed meeting several giant tortoise on the way. The museum was also worthwhile and overall the whole experience was very good, so much better than the 7 coloured sands park next door which is very touristy.. A small coffee shop and somewhere to sit after your hike would be the only improvement to make.

Magic Moment Tour. We started this hike with Bryn, approaching it with some trepidation. We began at 5:30 a.m. Bryn was truly the best guide we could have asked for. He gave us so much confidence that we were never afraid to climb the mountain and really began to enjoy the tour. The time seems early, but the heat and the crowds as it got later on made it worthwhile. We were completely alone. Going down was more difficult than going up, but even that wasn't a problem thanks to Bryn's charm. We would only recommend doing this tour with a guide because you have to do some serious climbing. Plus, the videos and photos at the end were fantastic. We've never had such a great guide who takes his work so seriously and loves it so much. It's doable for anyone, but a reasonable level of fitness is recommended. After all, you're the one who has to do the climbing.

The coffee tour was a really great experience! Our guide was fantastic, very friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to share lots of interesting information about coffee and the cultivation process. The plantation was beautiful, and the whole tour was both enjoyable and informative. We especially loved the coffee tasting, which was definitely one of the highlights of the tour. The only small issue we had was finding the parking area. Although the instructions say to follow the signs, we still ended up being directed the wrong way and eventually arrived at the wrong location. A more detailed description or clearer signage for the parking area would definitely make the arrival easier. Apart from that, we really enjoyed the tour and would absolutely recommend it. A beautiful, interesting, and delicious experience!
