Reviews: The Canmore HISTORY TOUR - Cowboys and Coal Miners 2H Walk
Guest User2026-07-31
Excellent tour. It’s always nice to do some sort of walking tour with a local to get their take on the area, and on top of it get out in nature away from the crowds of tourists. We started off walking along the beautiful Bow River pathway learning history of the surrounding area. The pathway eventually led us to a section of old town Canmore where the street is blocked off from vehicles. We enjoyed our way back to the car via a nice trail.

Wonderful experience and we even asked for a condensed tour because I was sore from a previous hike. Erin gladly accommodated our change of schedule.

The guide is very friendly and knows Calgary's history very well. But expect to pay extra for the service because the $7 is just to reserve your spot.

Reviews: Calgary: Guided Couple City Tour with Stops for Photos
Guest User2026-09-17
Bally was amazing and made our only day in Calgary a great memory . He personalized our stops just for the four of us, giving us just the right amount of time at each one . We didn’t just drive by buildings, he took us to places that he knew would have wonderful views for photos. We appreciate so much the videos and photos he took for us and look forward to more when he has time . We would absolutely recommend Bally to anyone . He went out of his way to pick us up at our hotel and then dropping us off at a restaurant across from our hotel ! It’s these extras that make him an extraordinary guide ! Thank you Bally !
