We had Lobar just for the two of us today. We have learnt a lot about Bukhara and Uzbekistán in general. It has been a very pleasant tour. Lobar gives you a lot of information in a friendly, calm and knowlegable manner. We had also pleasant converstations derived from our questions to her. In summary, a great experience that we would recommend when visiting Bukhara.

Reviews: Bukhara: Ancient City Guided Walking Tour in a Small Group.
Guest User2026-11-03
Mari was a very good guide. She knew what she was doing. She picked out the items that were worth seeing and buying at the very busy trading domes, letting the sellers introduce their products without hard selling. Her reminder that the ticket for the Ark of Bukhara could be used twice in one day—so we could enjoy both the daytime and sunset scenery of the place—really did help a lot. There were so many remarkable buildings inside the old city. It was very important to have a good guide like Mari to provide information and historical background, so you would not get confused by what you were looking at, which made the trip truly remarkable.
