Reviews: Speyside: Cardhu Whisky Distillery Tour and Tasting
Guest User2026-10-12
I had trouble leaving my suitcase and had to take it with me on the tour. Someone from the agency, who wasn't the guide, was rather unpleasant. He made me go find a spot at the end of a very steep street with my suitcase, just 5 minutes from the tour's starting point. I was using a walking stick, and in the end, thanks to the guide from Seville who was with us, I was finally able to get it onto the vehicle. This man was very unpleasant, lacking in empathy and consideration.

Reviews: From Inverness: Spirit of Speyside Whisky Tour with Entry

Our guide, Cami, was an incredibly kind and excellent instructor. At every stop, he provided insightful explanations based on his extensive knowledge, allowing us to learn many new things. He made every effort to show us as many places as possible within our limited time. I highly recommend Cami. We were also very satisfied with the detailed tour and diverse tastings offered at the Cairn Distillery. Although the Glenlivet Distillery was not officially included in our tour package, so we didn't receive an explanation there, the tasting in the lounge was sufficient. Throughout our journey to our destinations, we were able to admire the beautiful scenery of Cairngorm National Park. While the Whisky Castle in Tominthul is small for a castle, it features a sufficiently large number of whiskies displayed by type, and we were able to taste varieties distinct from those at the Cairn Distillery. I highly recommend this place to anyone whose primary purpose is whisky tasting and who wants to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of Cairngorm National Park at the same time.

Jenny was a fabulous guide. The storytelling was very fun and informative and she handled a slightly rowdy group with great humour. Just enough stops, and a good amount of time at each place.
