Reviews: La Fortuna: Hanging Bridges Guided Tour at Mistico Park
Guest User2026-10-02
Naza and Alan were exceptionally knowledgeable and caring of guests and the environment. It was a privilege to be hosted by them and having a tour bought so much to life and of creatures that you never notice yourself. This us a must do.

Reviews: Sloth Tour in La Fortuna and Tortillas Cooking Class
Guest User2024-07-28
We had a great time on this tour. Even though it was pouring down rain, we were able to spot 4 sloths - including one baby! They have both two- and three-toed sloths on the property. The guide was super knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. He was able to provide many facts about the sloths and answered all our questions. What really impressed me was that this was a family-run place that was into sustainability. They care about the animals and plants on their property and do this as a way to inform the tourist. They are not trying to exploit the animals, unlike a number of places in the area. Afterwards, you get to squeeze sugar cane to make juice and make your own tortillas. Plus, the "grandma" provides you with a nice meal. Here little grandson was a wonderful helper too :) We highly recommend this tour!

The Hot Springs was very relaxing. The locker rooms were very clean and came with towels for you to dry off, which was a nice perk. The springs was nothing short of amazing! The waiter walking around taking drinks orders was a plus, the drinks were pretty affordable as well & yummy! I highly recommend coming to the Hot Springs to relax and enjoy Mother Nature.

Reviews: Monteverde Full Day Birding Expedition with FREE BINOCULARS
Guest User2024-01-22
After visiting Monteverde five times, I am convinced that George is the best guide you will find in the area. I used George as a guide for a solo trip a couple of years ago, and most recently while traveling in Costa Rica with my 15-month old and my mother and her two friends. George was so helpful with my baby, carrying my backpack while I carried my babe in a carrier. He was patient with my elderly mother and her friends, allowing us to rest and take a break when needed. He made sure our tours were accessible to my mom and her friends, while still seeing some of the most beautiful birds and animals. George was our guide for hanging bridges, a night tour, birding and a walk to the Continental Divide. He is a very talented photographer, so he will get great photos of you and your family and all of the beautiful things you see. George is well-loved and respected in the community, which means when you come across other guides on your treks, they will tell him the location of where they have recently seen the hard to find animals, like the quetzal! Every time I visit Monteverde, I see new beautiful birds and animals because George is on top of his game. 🦜🌱🐍🌳🌙🦋
