Reviews: Cusco: Peruvian Cooking Class, Cocktails & Local Market Tour

This class was one of the highlights of my three-week Peru vacation. Chef Carlos was encouraging and freely shared his knowledge and love for Peruvian food. The class was well organized and moved along at an efficient pace. He offered several tips on how to adapt recipes for various allergies and dietary preferences. I also enjoyed the market tour and learning about local fruits, cheeses and other products. I can’t wait to try out the recipes and experiment with the new ingredients when I return home!

Reviews: Cooking class and market tour with a local chef
Guest User2026-10-28
I loved the combination of the cooking class and market tour. We stopped at several vendors in the market and were given tastes of the food. Our guide, Ronald, also gave us suggestions as to the best types of products to purchase on our own. The cooking portion was very organized and ran smoothly. Because it was led by someone who was a chef, I was able to glean helpful techniques to use in my own kitchen. I would highly recommend.
