We experienced two successive last-minute changes of meeting point, each one further and further from our hotel. Our first driver, Max, arrived 10 minutes late and drove us through Naples to Pompeii. The driving was quite rough. The guide seemed more interested in the English speakers than the French speakers. Everything changed in Pompeii, with a new guide, Marie, who was fantastic! Then, for the trip to Mount Vesuvius, we had a new driver, Tonio, who was wonderful (friendly and cheerful), and a rather unremarkable guide. We had to rush up the mountain because the timing was far too tight to reach the summit and descend within the allotted time. It's a shame the clouds spoiled the view of the Bay of Naples, which should have been exceptional.★

This was one of the most memorable trip for us! Our guide, Angelo, did a fabulous job driving and explaining the unique characteristics of each town. It was a scenic and breathtaking drive from beginning to end. The Tour Operator (Di Sarno Car Service) put together a great itinerary for the tour with perfect amount of time spent in each town. I highly recommend them and would definitely book with them again.
