Reviews: Rosslyn Chapel and Scottish Borders Small-Group Day Tour from Edinburgh
Guest User2025-12-11
Me and my husband booked this trip on our honeymoon vacation and we had such a wonderful time! Our guide, Stefan, was so knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor that made us enjoy everything even more. The locations were breath-taking, especially the Rosslyn Chapel, which you could admire for days as it had so many details. We learned so much about the history of Scotland in a way that was engaging, and the information setteled well in our minds. One little downside is that we think there could be a longer stop at Melrose Abbey, as there is a charming town around it that could be explored. We will definately book another trip when we visit Scotland again, and we hope that Stefan will be our guide once more !
Reviews: Edinburgh: Rosslyn Chapel, Borders & Glenkinchie Distillery

A day trip that started off positively at 8:15 a.m. with a friendly "Good morning" at the meeting point... our unique guide, Stuart, greeted us warmly – a cheerful fellow in authentic Scottish attire, who then took us to the minibus – there were only five of us on the tour today… fantastic! Stuart gave us the safety briefing, and then we were off to Rosslyn Chapel. During the drive, he shared stories about the sights and interesting facts along the way. Afterwards, we continued to Melrose, accompanied by many anecdotes and humorous anecdotes. On the way to the Glenkinchie Distillery, we stopped at a wonderful photo spot. We were also blessed with sunny weather, allowing us to take a number of pictures. At the distillery, we booked a short tour, met a very friendly guide, learned a lot, gained great insights, and were even able to sample three whiskies. On the return journey, Stuart answered many of our questions and safely brought us back to the starting point. Many thanks!
