The Fire Dance Show is a must see - especially the Sunset one. Great entertainment and an insight into the Balinese religion. It was a highlight of our trip. Unless you do the walk along the sea you don’t get the best view of Uluwatu Temple as you can’t enter the inner temple. The monkeys are quite aggressive and we saw them steal several people’s glasses. It marred an interesting afternoon. Agus was a great guide and told us a lot about the temple and the dance.★

The itinerary was well-planned. A driver picked us up from the hotel to the pier in the morning and helped us exchange all our boat tickets and boarding passes. A dedicated driver from the island picked us up on the boat to Nusa Penida; he was a very friendly young man (special praise!). We chose the east coast route, first visiting the Teletubbies exhibit, then the Treehouse area. There are several photo spots at this location, all requiring an entrance fee; we only chose the treehouse photo spot, which cost 750,000 Indonesian Rupiah. Photo opportunities are timed, two minutes per person, starting from when you begin climbing the stairs, so be sure to prepare in advance.About
