Such a good tour. It covers the whole DMZ experience, and it’s actually the cheapest one I found.
They take you to each of the main touristic points:
- Imjingak Park (Freedom Bridge, old locomotive, ~1 hour)
- Gamaksan Red Suspension Bridge (~1 hour)
- Dora Observatory (1st, 2nd and 3rd floors, theater, ~1 hour)
- The 3rd tunnel (includes entry and a short video, ~1 hour)
- Fast stop at a convenience store in Unification Village (~15 minutes)
The main highlight: the tourist guide, in our case Kenny :), gives you the whole context of the Korean conflict and the DMZ. He took every on-bus trip to give very interesting facts.

The South Korean tour guide team was very professional. After booking through Ctrip, they communicated with us one day in advance to confirm the meeting time and place. The itinerary was compact and well-planned, visiting Imjingak, Dora Observatory, and the Third Tunnel in sequence. Our tour guide, Kim Ji-hye, was professional, cheerful, and humorous. She provided detailed explanations of the history of inter-Korean relations and each attraction, and thoughtfully helped with taking photos and translation.★

My group cant come on time with the meeting time. So I go to meeting place at designed time to ask them to allow us to use only the return, and they allowed me and my group so kind. I still can manage use this booking. They ask to take a picture the bus number so I can easily find they also give me the bus driver number to contact when go back to seoul. Why was my itinerary limited to boarding at Dongdaemun, while other tour companies allowed boarding at Myeongdong and Hongdae? I was staying in Myeongdong, woke up at 6:00 AM, had breakfast, and rushed to Dongdaemun by subway at 7:40 AM. I even went to the wrong exit and boarded the wrong tour bus! After boarding at Dongdaemun, the tour bus drove back to Myeongdong subway station exit 8 to pick up other tourists. It felt like I was being tossed around between Dongdaemun and Myeongdong. The toboggan ride was thrilling, and feeding the seagulls shrimp chips was fun. The bicycles were very tiring; it took my friend and me 30 minutes to pedal back and forth 🤣🤣. The restaurant for lunch was delicious; it would have been better if the tour guide had been more attentive.
