The 72βhour Tokyo Subway pass saved us time and money while exploring central Tokyo. It covers Tokyo Metro + Toei Subway lines and gave us unlimited rides for three full days, which made hopping between neighborhoods (Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza, Asakusa) effortless. Activation is simple β the timer starts the first time you pass through a gate β so activate it when you begin a full day of sightseeing to get the most value. We paired the pass with a Suica card for JR lines and airport transfers, which worked well.β
