This day trip to Qingdao was absolutely perfect! Before we set off, our driver, Mr. Wang, even prepared bottled water from Laoshan for us. His familiarity with the old city was astonishing. He took us around all the congested roads and even made a special detour to show us the most beautiful coastal scenery. At the villas in Badaguan, each one made us feel like we had traveled back a century to Qingdao. His driving skills were superb; he navigated the undulating mountain roads with ease. The entire trip was provided in an air-conditioned vehicle, and the professional and thoughtful service made the day full of surprises!

This day trip around Qingdao was a fantastic experience! With Mr. Wang, we visited classic attractions like Zhanqiao Pier, Yunhai Tian (Cloudy Sea and Sky), Badaguan Scenic Area, and Signal Hill. The coastal scenery of Qingdao—red-tiled roofs, green trees, and azure sea and sky—was truly captivating. Mr. Wang's driving skills were steady and skillful, ensuring a smooth and safe ride. He was also incredibly warm and attentive, providing engaging and humorous commentary throughout, detailing the history, culture, and unique features of each attraction. The itinerary was well-planned and worry-free, with attentive care throughout, making the trip relaxing and enjoyable. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Wang for his dedicated service! Laoshan Yangkou Mountain hides a spectacular view of mountains and sea. Stone steps wind their way to the top, where the sea breeze carries the sound of pine trees. In the distance, the Yellow Sea surges with azure waves, and the towering peaks appear like ink paintings. Qingshan Village nestles at the foot of the mountain, its red-tiled roofs and stone walls embedded in the greenery. The oysters served at the fishermen's feast are incredibly sweet. Watching fishing boats pierce the morning mist at dawn and seeing the mountain shadows bathed in the setting sun at dusk—this is the idyllic gift of mountains and sea.

Our tour guide, Amy, picked us up from our hotel at 8 am and shared some statistics and information about Qingdao and the Shandong province on the drive to Laoshan. We took the shuttle to Laoshan and walked around the temple, here Amy shared a lot of interesting facts about the temple and Taoism. We took the cable car up the mountain and chose to walk down Next we had a delicious lunch and moved on to the Tsingtao Beer Museum where Amy provided us with the history of the brewery.

We were warmly received by Mr. Wang today, who even upgraded our vehicle to a 7-seater, which was very comfortable. Mr. Wang is a native of Laoshan and gave us a very detailed introduction to Laoshan. He also proactively helped us choose good spots for taking photos, which was great. He also recommended some local foods and taught us how to avoid bad ones, which was wonderful. He even let us try beer, Laoshan cola, and steamed buns. I highly recommend hiring Mr. Wang for driving and for his recommendations!
