Seeing the traditional homes where the Batak people continue to live was amazing! I loved looking at where they sleep and cook their meals. My guide and driver was wonderful and very concerned with what I was interested in seeing along the way.

This day trekking was so much fun! The guides are very professional and take you to the heart of the jungle were you can view the orangutans up close. A great lunch and fruit platter is provided when taking a break and the rafting back into the village finishes the day off nicely! A trip well worth doing!

Despite the weather not being the best (it was constantly raining through the entirety of the trip – no matter the location), we had a great time! Our guide Anggi and our driver Andi were both really kind and made sure we had the best time possible. Since Anggi is a local from Berastagi he knew just about everything about Mount Sibayak, Sumatra and Indonesia you could think and ask about. We can highly recommend this tour, Anggi and Andi!

We all want that perfect experience, well it’s not just about the animals that you see here that makes it so special, it’s the people that you spend it with and the guide that shows you the way, Fery was always smiling and trying to give you the best trip possible, getting close to the animals but respecting the rules. I do not often do trips with guides because they are often not as great as you hoped, but Fery made this trek a really special one! He looked after my mother incredibly well, a memory we have got forever. Also can speak multiple languages Thanks fery


