My first time paragliding was an amazing experience! I was lucky and got to be near the front of the line as soon as I arrived. It completely depends on the weather; if the wind is light, you can fly with 50kg of air, haha, and I took off right away! The staff all speak some basic Chinese, and the locals are incredibly friendly. It was definitely the most worthwhile place to visit on the whole trip!ā

Despite getting soaked in the rain š§ļø that day, we still enjoyed the experience of exploring that side of Bali. We had a wonderful driver/tour guide (Wirma) and the other two people who were with us on the tour were great travel buddies. We got stuck in traffic for a very long time on our way back to Kuta, so we had a sing along in the car. š¶ It was a very fun day overall. š„°š®š©ā

The excursion was well organized. We were picked up from the hotel and then accompanied along the entire route. It was comfortable. We really enjoyed the snorkeling, seeing the vibrant corals and fish. The changing rooms and restrooms at the snorkeling area were in poor condition. After snorkeling, we were accompanied by a polite driver.ā

The driver was very pleasant and helped us plan our route. On his recommendation, we visited a really cool cafe where they showed us the coffee-making process and gave us a tasting. We really enjoyed it.ā

The organizers delivered on everything they promised ā we visited all the planned spots and even made an extra stop at Crystal Bay Beach since we had time left, for which we're especially grateful. The staff (manager and driver) were friendly. However, a few things could be improved: 1. I was told to be ready at 6:45 a.m., but I ended up waiting at reception for almost 30 minutes (they said the car broke down). The boat didn't arrive until 8:00 a.m., even though it's a 15-minute drive from the hotel to the port. Planning this part of the trip was poor. 2. The driver on Nusa Penida barely speaks English, so there's no excursion component. However, he knows a lot of good photo spots and minimizes the tourist's need to climb over rocks in the heat. And finally (but this is not a question about the tour, but about the island in general) - there are A LOT of tourists at each location, the cars are quite old, and the condition of the roads on the island is poor + serpentine - keep this in mind if you get motion sickness.ī„
