Our guide Lorenza was excellent. We had a small group of 6 and she was good at making conversation and including everyone in the group. Her knowledge was very good and the pace of the tour was perfect for a group of mixed ages. The tour is a perfect length to get a feel for the sassi area and we were not given information overload. This leisurely tour is very pleasant on this hilly terrain. Matera is full of wonders. This tour allows you to visit three of them and inspires you to visit others. The driver is very courteous, attentive, and takes the necessary time. The audio guide played in the vehicle helps you understand better without being overwhelming.★
