I had a great time with guide Mr M who took me to several impressive temples in Chiang Mai city centre, the fascinating umbrella making centre and the unmissable Doi Suthep. Mr M provided interesting insights into each site and chose a great restaurant serving tasty local food for lunch. I also really appreciated his advice for the best positions to take stunning photos. I high recommend this tour.

This trendy restaurant in the suburbs of Bangkok is perfect for a day trip with the Railway Market and Floating Market. Online reviews said it was a bit old, but in reality, it was quite nice and photogenic. The food was just average—not amazing, but not bad either. Four of us ate for 2000 baht and were quite full, which wasn't particularly expensive. I strongly advise against the DIY grilled quail eggs recommended online; it was incredibly smoky and I got burned by the oil splattering everywhere 😭
