Service is very good. Pickup and drop off at the hotel. The journey is quite long is all well planned by the tour company. The provided info well in advance. Only sad thing is it was raining the whole day so photography does not turn up that nice with the dark cloudy sky.

Reviews: Xining Qinghai Lake + Chaka Salt Lake + Riyue Mountains (Sun and Moon Mountains) Day Tour - Explore Three Sacred Landscapes in One Day
Guest User2026-08-06
A Perfectly Planned Qinghai Adventure! Everything about this trip was flawlessly organized - from Riyue Mountain to Qinghai Lake (Erlangjian) and the stunning Caka Salt Lake. The itinerary was planned down to the minute, ensuring we hit all the highlights without a hitch. Special shout-out to the organisers for their excellent communication via WeChat (in English!), which made coordination so easy. While we sadly missed the cruise and bus at Erlangjian due to time (only explored the entrance area), the experience was still unforgettable. Absolutely worth every penny—highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a stress-free, well-executed journey through these breathtaking spots! 🌟

The guide was really friendly, we even got traditional Chinese breakfast when she picked us up. Actually, we did more stops than the itinerary suggested :) Overall, we can recommend it!👍

The day went very well thanks to the organizer who supported us on WeChat from beginning to end, and to the very friendly and efficient driver. His idea of taking the scenic back road from the lake was excellent because the view is magnificent. Thank you for taking photos of us with your drone! I highly recommend it!

Reviews: Depart from Xining: Laji Mountain, Qinghai Lake & Riyue Mountains (Sun and Moon Mountains) Day Tour with Private Car & Tickets Included

Amazing trip, with wonderful views! Driver-guide was very nice and easygoing, and the English reception service was good. Especially memorable were the winding mountain road to Laji mountain pass and a small stop before Riyue mountains near a small mountain with wooden staircase to the viewpoint. Riyue mountains were not crowded, but keep in mind that they may not allow foreigners in. We were extremely lucky, as our driver managed to get us in, which again underlines his professionalism, good humor and ability to problem solve on the spot! Qinghai lake Erlangjian scenic area was indeed very crowded, but beautiful. Fortunately, the cruise ship (additional charge, as stated in the itinerary) was not as crowded and quite comfortable, and thanks to good weather we managed to take some nice photos.
