National Anzac Centre

In 1914, the more than 40,000 Australians and New Zealanders who left Albany to fight in World War I - their stories are told at the National Anzac Centre. Located in Albany Heritage Park, you will become one of 32 Anzac characters, presented through interactive, multimedia presentations and voice commentary, as if experiencing World War I through your own eyes. The Gap and Natural Bridge

The fissures and natural bridges are located along the southern coast of Torndirrup National Park, which covers most of the peninsula surrounding the southern part of King George Sound. The fissures and natural bridges are formed by the erosion of ocean waves. The fissures are on one side of the rock, and the surf that hits the granite cliffs passes through the crevices. The natural bridge is on the other side of the rock and looks like an arch bridge.

Brig Amity

The brig Amity is a replica of an 1826 two-masted sailing ship. It carried British settlers from Sydney to Albany, and its crew became Albany's first British settlers. The replica was built to mark the 150th anniversary of Albany's founding. Visitors can board the ship and take a self-guided audio tour that tells the vessel's history.

Albany Wind Farm

Thanks to winds along the coast of the Southwest, Albany is powered by approximately 75% of its clean, green electricity. The farm consists of 12 huge wind turbines, each 100 meters high from the bottom to the tip of the blades, standing here, suddenly feel small. This spectacular view has made it a popular tourist attraction. The farm is very close to Albany, making a visit especially convenient.
