We stayed here for 1 night but unfortunately the aircon in my room was spoilt, we informed the hotel staff and instead of fixing they told us to live with it and tried to struck off the matter… seriously even though we stayed only 1 night we shouldn’t be treated like that

Ski in ski out. Have hourly shuttle to and from train station, but you need to find way to book, can be full. Can get very crowd for ski rental during peak.

The hotel is new and clean. The food is so good and the portion is a good fit for a lady. The onsen is wonderful with very nice cosmetic supply. However, the room may be a bit small if you have many luggages; but so comfy for solo travellers.

Japanese tatami, the room staff will come to make the bed at night, and the action is very fast. The room view is very good, and it is very convenient to go downstairs to ski. Please note that this ski resort is for double boards, and single board friends can choose other ski resorts. It is very suitable for bringing children. There is a restaurant downstairs, which is simple and convenient. You can also choose to eat in the town below. Remember to make an appointment in advance, whether it is dining or taking a taxi.

The air conditioner is a dial type and difficult to adjust. Amenities are abundant. Convenient convenience stores and restaurants are nearby. Parking fees may be a little cheaper if you choose a nearby multi-storey parking lot without being particular about the affiliated parking lot. I recommend the affiliated parking lot for large cars.

The hotel is a good choice for small group of traveller. I am impressed by the low price and excellent hygiene of this hotel. The view is panoramic to the harbor. However, the air-conditioner sometimes does not work and we have to call the front desk to turn on the cooling for the room every other day. There is no gym room or facilities in the hotel except the lower floors of the building is indeed a famous art museum and exhibition or some sort. It could be interesting to visit the museum. Hotel in Japan seldom comes with gym facilities so I am not too annoyed by that.

The front desk staff was very kind. You can drink coffee for free in the lobby. You can warm up food you bought in the microwave. It's very convenient, close to Bandai and Niigata Station.

Travelled here with 2 toddlers and the place is fantastic. We took the room with the open air bath for them to enjoy and it comes with our very own one backyard of snow! The kids were playing in the snow and jumping jn the Bathtub after. The hotsprings are fantastic , they have a huge variety and they switch the female and males after every few hours so you will enjoy diff type of hotsprings.. they even had a tea hotspring where they full up the tub with tea leaves. The amenities provided is great, you literally do not need to bring any of yours, everything is provided, even pajamas. The skii resorts are convenient to get too and when you reach echiga Station, you can ask the tourist centre to call the Hotel for a pick up

We recently stayed at Hotel Okura in Niigata and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully situated overlooking the Shinano River, providing stunning views, especially during sunset. The location is very convenient, with easy access to the JR Niigata Train Station and Niigata Airport, making it a great base for exploring the area. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. We particularly enjoyed the variety of dining options available at the hotel, including a French restaurant and a Japanese restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We appreciated their attentiveness and willingness to assist with any requests we had. Overall, Hotel Okura Niigata offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent service. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Niigata.

Very attentive service. There is a Chinese-speaking front desk. It’s super convenient to use the car. We picked up and dropped off at the ski resort. The driver was very enthusiastic. We took the Shinkansen from the ski resort to Tokyo the next day. The front desk directly helped us deliver our luggage to GALA Snow Resort. Field, so convenient. The room is large, although it is a bit old, but it is very well maintained. There is also a free sake lees facial mask in the large bathing hot spring on the first floor. My skin was very smooth and tender the next morning. Coffee and ice cream are also provided for free, and it's particularly refreshing after bathing. The furniture in the study room is all made of old camphor wood. Sitting there and reading a book, the smell of fragrance is very healing. We arrived on Monday and originally wanted to make a reservation for dinner the next day, but unfortunately the chef was closed on Tuesday. You can also dine directly in the hot spring street or Yuzawa Station, and there are almost no surprises. On Monday and Tuesday, there are slightly fewer people in the ski resort, which makes the experience better. Thank you again to all the service staff at Gaoban for giving us a particularly pleasant holiday experience. Next time, we will come again.

This is our 3rd week of 4 weeks exploring Japan and so far Yuzawa Grand is the best Ryokan Onsen experience we have had. We could have spent several days there it was sublime. We arrived in the morning and the staff were extremely welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. We had been told by the tourist centre at the train station that the gondola wasn’t operational for 3 days; however the Yuzawa Receptionist assured us that it was operating and showed us that they were even able to sell us tickets at a discount. She gave us a map and bus timetable, showing us where everything was. They stored our backpacks for us and off we went exploring and had a marvellous time. We soaked our feet in the foot baths while having a treat before catching the bus to the mountains. We came back to our gorgeous room which had a coffee pod machine in it. Was so nice having a coffee in the morning looking out the window. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful Onsens before dinner. The buffet at both dinner and breakfast was incredible, everything so beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. Highly recommend this gorgeous hotel. The staff are fantastic and the ambiance very peaceful.

Very helpful as they helped us to liaise with Gala resort to get back our lost bag left in the free shuttle by calling and communicating from A to Z. Clean & Efficient. The Impeccable Service. High cost performance. This time I accidentally hit this hotel. Thank you very much for Ctrip. Before going to Japan, I wanted to find a place where you can ski and hot springs for 2 nights, but whether it is Zao in Yamagata, Asahi in Otaru, or Echigo Yuzawa, the prices are very high, so I have to give up. I bought a 3-day ticket in Ueno and boarded the Shinkansen on the way to Karuizawa. When I was bored, I brushed Ctrip, and suddenly I got a room at Toei Hotel in Yuzawa-cho, and immediately locked it. Get off at Takasaki and change Multiply by. Worthy of a trip. As written by Kawabata Yasunari's ”Snow Country”: A long tunnel that crosses the border of the country comes to the Snow Country. The south of the tunnel is still clear and sunny. After the train passes through the tunnel, there is continuous heavy snow. Different from northern China, the temperature is not that low, with the lowest temperature at minus four or five degrees and the highest temperature at minus four or five degrees. The sky is covered with powder snow, which is the guarantee of the ski resort. Echigo Yuzawa stood out, you can book the hotel shuttle bus, even if walking, it only takes 10 minutes. There is a primary road under the hotel window. Take the hotel elevator down to B1, which is the ski rental counter and the dressing room. You can hang the room account. You can also take the cable car up the mountain on the top of the primary road, and go up to 900 meters above sea level. There are all the routes of the primary road and the intermediate road. Tired of slipping, the hotel's hot spring has internal soup and external soup, this stay again experienced the open-air hot spring in the snow. Very cozy.

Yes, it is very convenient to go skiing in Shenle Peak, and the cable car is opposite. The homestay is very good in all aspects, because on the side of the road, you can consider it if you are afraid of noisy. But the convenient homestays are on the side of the road...

It's a little bit of a walk from Niigata Station, about a 10-minute walk, but it's located in Bandai City and there are many convenience stores, restaurants, and shopping facilities nearby, so it's in a convenient location. The room is small, but has everything you need, and it's also helpful that there's a coin laundry in the common area. It's been nearly half a century since it opened, so it's hard to hide its age, but it's clean and has a retro feel to it in a good way. The staff are also very helpful.

The room is a bit small, but clean and tidy. The facilities are a bit old. The location is good, close to the station, and convenient to go out. There are many restaurants around, and Starbucks is not far away. Although I didn't go to the commercial street, there are many convenience stores. Eating and drinking is not a problem, and the hotel price is affordable.

The location is less than 5 minutes' walk from Niigata Station. It is located in a quiet alley, so it is very quiet. In addition, the breakfast is rich and balanced. In addition to rare fruits (tomatoes and strawberries), even the miso soup is full of vegetables. Excellent value for money, highly recommended. The nearby Hakusan Shrine is a famous place of worship for marriage, and the Bandai Museum of Art building can be climbed up to see the distance.

Very pleasant comfortable stay. So close to the loop bus, bus stop and only 1km walk from the Sake brewery. The bed was a small double however we didn’t mind as it was so comfortable and we slept really well. Only 1 very tiny, tiny issue was that we were near the elevator and guests returning from late night revelling were quite noisy. Would stay here again and try their breakfast.

Even though this hotel was getting old but we very likes their service. Their cleaning service were very satisfied and we feel warming that the cleaner helped to replace my non dried clothes on the hotel towels. This action really bravo!
