肖恩This shop is located on Park Road in Yanji City, just past the internet-famous wall and the main gate of Yanbian University. The large bilingual sign on the wall is a unique feature of the area.
I really like the industrial style inside. The overall lighting is dim, and there are not many people in the morning, which is a comfortable space for someone like me with social anxiety.
Because we arrived too early, there was no pour-over coffee available, so I ordered a SOE Americano. While a good morning always starts with a pour-over coffee, I didn't mind it being an Americano. I especially want to mention that the croissant was delicious, crispy and flavorful.

In modern life, drinking coffee has become both fashionable and cultural. Yanji is also known online as the "King of County Coffee." Holding a cup of "Yanji" culturally inspired coffee, check in at the popular Yanbian University wall. Yanji's hidden gem, coffee shop, is now on your bucket list! Houlang Coffee—Yanji's first black and gold coffee concept shop, adorned with a black and gold hue, incorporates industrial elements for a high-end, fashionable feel. Customers are thoughtfully asked to choose their preferred cup when ordering. (Yanda Branch, Youth Branch) Jiawen Coffee—A top choice for Yanji university students and a highly-regarded coffee shop by locals. Its spacious space features stylish decor and a vibrant corridor with a high yield. They offer a wide selection of coffees, such as rice wine coffee and frozen pear juice. They also utilize Yanbian's high-quality rice resources to create a rice-flavored coffee line. 🎈Benji Coffee — Hailed by Yanji locals as a "private museum," it showcases numerous animal and plant specimens. Beautiful specimens like the pheasant and the butcher's shrike, along with novelty like the ring-necked pheasant and the butcher's shrike, are so exquisite and lifelike, they offer a glimpse into a new side of the flora and fauna. Their signature dessert is the sweet and delicate matcha Basque. Their drink is the refreshing fruit wine "Hakushu," a Japanese whiskey with an oriental flavor. 🎈Hai Suo Garden Cafe — What makes it stand out among Yanji's popular cafes is its unique setting amidst the sea. Its vibrant flowers create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Take photos and share them with this backdrop, and you'll be captivated by the "flower fairy" vibe. 🎈Linzhong Cafe — This well-known, established outdoor cafe in Yanji offers breathtaking views throughout spring, summer, autumn, and winter, offering a seasonal experience. Locals say that forest coffee is a natural 🌲 forest oxygen bar, allowing people to relax and unwind, making it a perfect spot for family gatherings on weekends. 🎈COFFEEIE — Founded in Seoul, South Korea in 2009, this incredibly popular coffee shop chain has now opened in Yanji. Its minimalist Korean style is a great way for fans of Korean dramas and variety shows to truly experience the experience. A must-see! 🎈Wa Coffee — This coffee shop incorporates ethnic minority characteristics. Customers can enjoy the DIY experience of grinding their own coffee beans with a stone mill. It's a truly enjoyable experience! If you have any questions, ask the staff; they'll patiently explain every step. 🎈Revolving Coffee Shop — The small cakes are very humid, and the coffee is incredibly fragrant, offering many surprising experiences. I recommend ordering the coffee and dessert combo; it's both delicious and affordable. 🎈 Uncle Zheng's Coffee Studio—This cafe feels like Uncle Zheng converted his own house 🏠 into a cafe. They have a fascinating selection of antique music players, film cameras 🎞️, records, and books 📙. Uncle Zheng chats with guests like an old friend, and his talkative nature is full of personality and charm. ➕Follow us on the zhy page for more exciting content 🎉 #YanjiTravel #YanjiCoffee #CoffeeTravel #InternetCelebrityCafe #YanjiFood
Loving summer! All the popular cafes in Yanji are serving up fresh snow ice! I came in for the popular coffee ☕, but stayed for the ambiance. The silver-black decor is so classy. I love the YOUNG BLOOD slogan. The view is perfect for enjoying the bullet-screen wall. I got the popular Yanji coffee! I took it to the popular bullet-screen wall to take a photo. And there's a new summer treat—snow ice! The ice is so fluffy and has a fantastic texture! 👍🏻 I never thought it could be this hot in Northeast China! One person finished off a whole bowl! #FacesLoveAfternoonTea #InstaCafé #InstaFoodStore
You absolutely have to visit Yanji. This small border town in Northeast China is brimming with exotic charm, leaving you feeling like you're in Korea. Itinerary: ✈️Beijing - Yanji 12:20-14:40 (or high-speed rail 🚄Beijing Chaoyang - Yanji West 13:17-20:55) Route: 1️⃣ Yanji Internet Celebrity Wall 18:30-19:00 📍Directions: Yanbian University South Gate A must-see in Yanji: the university town's internet-famous bullet-screen wall—pretend you're in Korea. 2️⃣ Houlang Coffee 19:00-19:30 Just a 100-meter walk from Yanbian University. Grab a cup of "Yanji" coffee and take a photo with the bullet-screen wall as your backdrop—perfect for a photo! 3️⃣ Wanxingjia BBQ (Gongxin Branch) 20:00-21:00 A popular barbecue restaurant among locals. During peak hours, you might have to wait for a table. 👉Signature must-try dishes: Bibimbap flower crab, seasoned ribs, pine slab pork, and seasoned boneless steak. The meat is very tender and the value is great. 4️⃣ Stayed at Hanting Hotel (Yanji Water Market Branch) The location is very convenient, economical, and clean, right next to Jeonju Bibimbap. 5️⃣ Korean Folk Park Come here and be a Korean princess! Every photo you take will be a masterpiece! We found Zomu Travel Photography, right at the entrance to the Folk Park. The makeup, styling, and photography were excellent! The next morning, we arrived at 7:00 AM. Going early gives you more options (makeup and styling for women takes about 1.5 hours). Entry to the park is at 8:30 AM, while the regular entrance is 9:00 AM. (The store manager can take you in early, saving you the trouble of waiting in line for photos.) 6️⃣ Jeonju Bibimbap (Main Branch) 11:30 AM-12:30 PM Great value! The signature stone pot bibimbap is a must-try. A full table costs only 50 yuan per person. 7️⃣ Watt Coffee 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM Photos taken near the entrance's exterior wall are photogenic (Figure 1) 8️⃣ Head to Wanda Resort (staying at Wanda: convenient access to the west and south slopes of Changbai Mountain) Depart from Yanji by shared car at 3:00 PM - arrive at 6:00 PM (Carpooling is recommended. If you take the high-speed rail from Yanji, it takes 3 hours to get to Changbai Mountain High-Speed Railway Station, and then another 1.5 hours to drive from Changbai Mountain High-Speed Railway Station to Wanda Resort. We recommend sharing a car directly from Yanji.) Since we only have 4 days, we'll also be visiting the south slope of Changbai Mountain and Tianchi Lake on the west slope on the last two days. If you have more time, you can also plan a one-day tour from Yanji to Tumen (visiting the border crossing) or a one-day tour from Yanji to Hunchun (experiencing the "Three Kingdoms at a Glance" experience). Yanji is small, so the main attractions are relatively concentrated. The itinerary will focus on eating, drinking, and taking photos. #YanjiTravel #YanjiFood #YanjiWhatToDo #MayDayCelebration #SummerSelf-DriveDestinations
1. 1. Jinli Skewer Restaurant This top-rated skewer restaurant in Yanji is a must-book. The line is very long. The meat is fresh and the skewers are large, so you won't regret it. 2. Jeonju Bibimbap A popular bibimbap, just average. The taste isn't amazing, just like your average Korean meal. 3. Sunji Cold Noodles Overpriced cold noodles. The portion is large, but the texture is average. The pot-fried pork is also a specialty, but it's just average. Not worth the line. 4. Dapujia BBQ There was a line, the BBQ was okay, but the dipping sauce wasn't appealing. It felt like the all-purpose Korean sauce. It was okay, but there's no need to queue. It's a bit pricey. 5. Jjajangmyeon (Heungdo Restaurant) Opens at 9:00 AM. Going early is just to reserve a table, not to order. It's packed with tourists, mostly from out of town. The Jjajangmyeon is not a disappointment. The seafood noodles have a thick broth. We didn't dare try the soy milk noodles, but after seeing other tables ordering, they didn't really touch their chopsticks, so we decided to sample them ourselves. 6. Snack: Preserved Vegetable Braised Pork with Preserved Vegetables. Line up for it; the cheese flavor is delicious. It's across from Yanji University, so easy to find. 7. Coffee: Just go across from Yanji University and buy Lucky Coffee. It's delicious and comes with a Yanji cup holder. We didn't drink much of the Houlang Coffee we bought, but it's quite expensive.
