Stayed here during my trip to the grand canyon since it was one of the most economic options in the area. The room that I was initially given had a faulty TV, a fridge that leaked, broken AC, and shower faucets that were loose and was difficult to turn on. Once we got it turned on, we had to call in a staff member to help us turn it off. Thankfully the staff was understanding and switched us to a new room that was MUCH better. We were only there for a night, and it was largely comfortable.
Besides the initial shock of so many faulty equipment in that one room, everything else was fine.

The place js at a “convenient” location, cleanliness is not the best on the rooms, i usually run my fingers over surfaces to test how clean it is, and this one was not that great… many locations were dusty… the beds are confortable and provided a good sleep, bathroom is enough to have a relaxing shower…. It was a bit too noice even if we were on second floor you could hear the first floor people. Carpet is not the tidiest…
Mini fridge, coffee machine and microwave were included.

The hotel is not far from Highway 64. It is very convenient to travel to the Grand Canyon. It is an hour's drive from the south entrance. The room is not big, but all facilities are complete, including coffee maker, hair dryer, refrigerator, electric iron, etc. The rooms are clean and tidy, and sleep quietly at night. The bed is comfortable and the pillows are a bit high. A typical motel, U-shaped courtyard, the car is parked in the courtyard, the lights in the courtyard are very bright, there is a sense of security.

This simple motel was a pleasant place to stay, because the room was spotless, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom had new tile on the floor and in the shower. The Westerner is simple, but someone cares enough to maintain it well. I have seen too much slaped-on or broken tile in motels in this price range, but the Westerner bathroom tile was done precisely, and the room was very clean. The room also included a small microwave and small refrigerator, two very-welcome extras. Overall, I happily would stay there again.

Upon arriving at the Canyon, we found the place to be cute, quirky, and an adventure. It is in a great location just a few minutes from the main drag. We were booked for a stay in one of the cabins and they are very rustic & simple on both the outside and the inside. Check-in was easy and we made our way to the cabin. Upon arrival, the AC was not working correctly but that was quickly fixed by the maintenance staff and worked great! The rooms are basic, with tv, microwave, refrigerator, toilet paper, soap & shampoo. Please be sure to check if your fire alarm is in working order. Ours was removed from the ceiling and was found in another area of the room with a 2022 battery and not working but was replaced. Our tv was snowy, but good enough to see what was happening in the area. The room & bedding and bathroom were clean. We did not require any room service during our stay but did exchange towels throughout the stay. Water pressure was low in the shower, and the toilet a big sluggish (hold the handle down) There was a small table with two chairs, that were in need of some serious recovering on both the upholstery & the seatbase. While the place has its historic charm, it also has some historic repairs that need addressing from a safety standpoint: The terrain to the cabin is very rocky and uneven, and front porch area of cabin pavers could leave you unsteady on your feet. There is a speed bump arrow in front of the office that is a trip hazard if not looking downward toward the picnic area/pool building. The cement on the patio has potholes and cracking concrete, and was not safe for our elderly relatives with walkers and canes. We did not use the indoor pool mainly because it appeared that it needed cleaning and maintenance; however, the restroom in that area was working well but was missing soap. The train cabins are a niche stay but not for those with mobility issues due to the steps. If you like a basic needs stay in a quaint cabin with the basics, then this property fits the bill at an affordable price. My honest suggestion is that the facility make some upgrades to the garden/patio area with flat safe grading, remove the speedbump arrow, add water bottles to the general store (or a refillable water station) and throw some more love into those cabins. To Owners: Please consider checking into historic preservation grants, small town improvement grants to make this an unforgettable place to stay!!

Very small motel, there are not many rooms in total, Indian-run, no problem with sanitation, rooms are super small, one night is not a problem, but the town is quite unique, with a western feel, the hotel is in On the main street of the town, it is very lively at night, and there are scene shows. It is directly in the middle of the road, the kind of road closure, go to the Grand Canyon to see the sunrise (July), only go at 4:00, 1 hour drive from the Grand Canyon It’s a little bit frozen.

ATTENTION IF YOU ARE DISABLED AND HAVE A WORKING SERVICE ANIMAL Mind Typos Have trouble typing due to my disability. At approximately 1:56 PM Arizona Time on 2/13/21, I called to confirm my accommodations for my working service animal. I was told by the person who answered the phone who refused to give me his name, I can only assume out of fear, that I will have to bring proof that my dog in deed is a working service animal. I very upset , explained how that is illegal and he then explained to me that he is sorry ,, his son has autism, then told me he died two years ago, and also that it is the policy of management to have guest provide such proof. It is not a matter of what I think about how I was treated for providing fare warning for accommodation that I have every right to ask for, it is a matter of what the Law states and we are all accountable to abide by. I do not need to bring proof of my disability or even divulge any more personal information than is necessary. If you do not like having working service animals at your hotel, do not run a hotel in the United States of America where I am very proud to be protected by the hard work of all our Veterans who fought for us who , many whom have survived and are disabled themselves and certainly hope they do not go through this when they go there. According to the ADA.gov website, a hotel (or any business meant for use by the general public) can not legally request proof of your disability or the need for a service animal. 1. Is the animal required because of a disability? 2. What work or task has the animal been trained to perform? Those are the only questions a company can ask someone with a working service animal. I do not need to bring proof of my disability because I bring it wherever I go because I am the living proof regardless if it is visible or in any way experience by this company or the individiual who answeredd the phone. It is not my problem that the company fails to know modern laws protecting its disabled citizens. I should not have to walk in there making loud, abrupt , noises while wearing a helmet just for people to take the laws seriously that protects accessibility for Americans such as myself. Just because you do not like something or agree with my chosen forms of surviving and navigating this world , does not mean that I should care or even bat an eye, Especially when the law states that what your company is doing is illegal and unethical. If you are disabled , I highly recommend bringing an advocate who is not a working service animal or also disabled because they may not follow the law and make your long trip there even longer. Very sad experience. I wish I could have gone . I was looking forward to the supposed compassion from the owners and staff that I had read so many great reviews about.

I chose this Hotel (Celilo) based on the reviews that said BEDS were comfortable--AND THEY WERE!! I have rarely slept well in hotels, so I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean, shower pressure fine, but the rooms are tiny. However, if I can't sleep because the bed is hard--then it's a horrible experience for me. I thought this hotel was too close to the train tracks but that ended up not even bothering me! I checked the mattress and it said ”Zinus”--I ordered a Green Tea Luxe mattress on line, but sadly it was not comfy like the one at the hotel.
