Originally thought it was just a dilapidated ancient street, but I didn't expect the current construction to be quite good, clean, and the houses seem to be the old wooden structures from before, quite retro, very suitable for taking period photos. The ancient street is a bit far from the county town, and maybe because it's usually not crowded, there are fewer snacks, most of which are popular online snacks, some may be temporary stalls, and the quality of the food really isn't up to par. This place is only suitable for going to a few local characteristic hot pot stalls at the intersection, the price per person is not expensive, and the taste is quite good, especially recommended is the beef hot pot. If you want to eat Yongchun's special cuisine, it is recommended to go near the food street in the county town, I like white liquor, bitter vegetable and small intestine soup, Penghu meat soup, vinegar pig's feet, white duck soup, Guohua spring rolls (with white sugar added inside, super good). I thought it was just an old and dilapidated street, but I didn't expect the current development to be quite good. It's clean, and the houses seem to be the old wooden structures from before, which have a very retro vibe, making it very suitable for taking period photos.

Baizhangyan is located at the southern end of the Baihe Mountain Range in Penghu Town, Yongchun County, Fujian Province. The mountain is called Made Mountain, and the temple on the top is commonly known as Ma's or Ma Temple. Because it has a single peak and a colorful boulder in front of the temple, which looks like a candle pointing to the sky, it is also called Baizhang Rock. It is said to be the place where the fairy Ma practiced Taoism and passed away. The temple was first built in the Song Dynasty and is dedicated to a woman named Ma, commonly known as the Fairy Ma. Baizhangyan Scenic Area is named after its steep mountains and cliffs that are hundreds of feet high. Baizhangyan, also known as Ma's Temple, is 10 kilometers away from Penghu Town. Ma's Temple is located on the top of Guanshan Mountain at an altitude of 892 meters, and the mountain is steep. The temple, supported by the rushing mountains, blends into the blue sky and white clouds, which is breathtaking. Looking down from here, the mountains stretch out endlessly downwards, giving you a sense of being in heaven. If you choose to come here in a season with clear skies and crisp air, you can even see the county town far away across the mountains. Here, you can feel the majestic peaks of Dapeng, Tianma, Dalü and Snow Mountain, which is refreshing.

Taoyuan Temple is located beside the Huancheng Road in Yongchun county town. During the Sui and Tang dynasties, immigrants from the Central Plains built the Zhenwu Palace in Yongchun, which was renamed Taoyuan Temple during the Five Dynasties period, and in the first year of the Jiajing era of the Ming dynasty, it became the Xuan Emperor's palace. It is dedicated to the worship of the Xuan Tian Shang Di, Fa Zhu Gong, Li Gong Yuan Shuai, and the Bodhisattva Guanyin. The temple covers an area of more than 4,000 square meters, with a two-entry earthen and wooden structure, and the main hall features a heavy-eaved Xieshan-style roof. It was renovated in 1985. Houlong Academy is located at the foot of Shuangbinlou Mountain in Houlong Village, Wufeng Town, Yongchun County, Quanzhou, with a gold-letter-shaped facade, facing south with its back to the north. It is the only ancient academy in Yongchun County that is still well-preserved. Houlong Academy consists of two study halls: Zhuyuanzhai and Guixuan. According to the 'Yingchuan Houlong Chen Family Genealogy', as early as the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, the thirteenth ancestor of the Houlong Chen family, Su Hou (a tribute student), built 'Zhuyuanzhai' at about the age of twenty, which is the predecessor of Houlong Academy, with a history of 300 years to date. Later, during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty (1796—1820), the sixteenth ancestor of the Houlong Chen family, Chen Xiaowu, continued to build Guixuan study hall and planted osmanthus and jade pen flower trees. The two study halls thus formed a garden-style academy.

Come to Quanzhou Yongchun Wuli Ancient Street to stroll around during the Spring Festival. I originally thought it was just an old and run-down street, but I didn’t expect it to be well built and clean. The houses seemed to be the old wooden structures from before, which had a retro feel and was very suitable for taking photos of the period. The ancient street is a bit far from the county town, and there may be few people there usually, so there are not many snacks. Most of them are Internet celebrity snacks, and some may be temporary stalls. It seems that the production level is really poor. The only suitable place to eat here is at a few local hotpot stalls at the intersection. The per capita price is not expensive and the taste is good. Beef hotpot is more recommended. If you want to eat Yongchun’s specialties, I suggest you go to the food street in the county town. I like Baiqu, Kucai Small Intestine Soup, Penghu Meat Soup, Vinegar Pork Knuckle, White Duck Soup, and Guohua Spring Rolls (which are filled with white sugar, so delicious). There are no hairpins on Wuli Street, but there is a Malaysian Department Store and Nyonya Clothing Culture Experience Center on the street, where you can pay to experience Malaysian Nyonya clothing and Nyonya photography. Next to it is Dayu Mountain, and you can drive up the mountain to watch the White Crane Fist performance. During a day trip, you can also visit the Yu Guangzhong Memorial Hall and Dongguan Covered Bridge near Yongchun East.

Wuli Ancient Street (P1-2, 8-12): ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It is still under renovation, you can see that the architecture here is very beautiful and distinctive, but the shops are not open yet, and the dust is a bit big. There are many "Kotan" (P13) here. If you are tired in the morning, you can just have a meal. I randomly chose one, there was no menu, just brought a pot to heat up with an induction cooker, and then the boss matched the ingredients (lean pork, pork liver, pork large intestine, pork sausage, pork lung, Arhat meat, egg sausage, tofu, fried tofu) to cook in the pot. The meat is very tender and the soup is delicious. The key is not expensive, 25 yuan per person. Of course, you can add some other side dishes, then the price is extra. I specifically checked, Kotan originated here, and it has a history of two to three hundred years. Wuli Street was busy with commerce during the Qing Dynasty. At that time, businessmen gathered here, surrounded the hot pot to eat meat, and over time, it formed a Kotan similar to hot pot. Because the ingredients will roll in the pot after they are cooked, making a "ko ko ko" sound, which is similar to the pronunciation of "ko" in Minnan dialect, so Kotan got its name. 5. Kuixing Rock (P13-14): ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wenquxing descended to the world, as soon as you enter, the trees are very dense, the air is particularly good, full of Zen. 6. China Mie Xiang City (p15-17): ⭐⭐⭐⭐ There are many companies here, you can go in and watch them dry the incense. One of the factories, Binda, has set up its own history and culture exhibition hall, which is quite interesting.
