Trip.com SG Cruise Official Rendang in Redang
Took a short getaway to Redang island 🏝.
So many fishes and turtles in the sea there. Clear blue water, bright skies and beautiful sandy beach. The sand was very soft and walkable. Like stepping on baby powder.
Went snorkelling and had the best time looking at corals, fishes, turtles and glow in the dark sea animal at night.
Had free food from the hotel buffet style and was delicious with dessert and fresh cut fruits. Would love to go there again for the turtles 🐢

Perhentian Islands Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jul)
MALAYSIA’S EXOTIC ISLAND
These coral-fringed, secluded islands offer plenty of opportunities for kayaking, exploring, snorkeling, and scuba diving (including the popular site of a sugar hauler wreck), as well as a chance to volunteer with local organizations in green and hawksbill turtle conservation efforts.
The islands have remained underdeveloped, which means no major hotels, restaurants, or facilities are available on the island. For those wanting to stay overnight, there are a couple of guesthouses and homestay options but little else.
Jungle trekking is another major draw, as paths here zigzag through the islands, connecting beaches with each other and cutting through dense forests where monitor lizards and monkeys live. Paved trails also connect Coral Bay with a nearby beach, as well as a picturesque fishing village.#newyearadventure #awesomepic #couplestrip #tripblazers

Perhentian Island Terengganu
#2023travelwish #mytripvlog #tripblazers #awesomepic #couplestrip #fallingforfall
Another set of beautiful Malaysian islands, no better no worse than many of the others - I find it difficult to pick a favourite - none are perfect, all have been worth visiting. Kecil island, where we stayed, was lovely, on the west side, near Rainforest Beach - it was quiet at the midway point and lots of beautiful rainforest and beaches and charm. Again, some of the resorts are a little 'heavy', but there are plenty of places to retreat to. The east side of the island, with Long Beach, was too noisy, busy and built up. We arranged transport with our hotel, who picked us up at the airport and took us to the island, RM250, round-trip. It was a good value well organised option. Perhentians are worth a visit - a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the sea and views.

Snorkel, dive and chill on Perhentian Islands
I love Perhentian Islands for the shimmering blue water, snorkeling and diving.
Here’s my guide on how to get there, what to do and where to stay:
🛥 Getting there - To get to the Perhentian Islands you’ll need to take a boat from Jetty Kuala Besut. Ferry takes about 30 minutes and tickets cost approximately 30-40MYR. Please make sure to check what boat you’re taking, once I took a smaller boat and all of my belongings and me were soaking wet, all of my devices were ruined and the boat company didn’t take responsibility. Take a bigger boat or one where you’re covered.
To get to the Jetty Kuala Besut, take a taxi from Kuala Terengganu Airport and to get to Kuala Terengganu, buy plane tickets from Kuala Lumpur ✈️
🏨 Hotels - not all of the hotels on Perhentian Islands can be booked in advance, only the good once. If you require good standard, stay at the Perhentian Islands Resort. If you’d like to experience local culture, you can choose a guesthouse from the list of places they give you once you arrive on the island. They are very rustic so I always book in advance.
You can also camp there, there are accommodations that provide camping equipment.
🐠 Attractions - Diving and snorkeling 🤿 are the most popular attractions on the Perhentian Islands, there are a lot of corals so you can see a lot of fish and other sea creatures under the water.
🍲 Restaurants - the restaurants are all very rustic, I recommend ordering local dishes such as Nasi Goreng Ayam (Chicken Fried Rice) and Nasi Lemak (Butter Rice with Chilli Sauce, anchovies and peanuts).
Enjoy your trip to the Perhentian Islands 😊

Laguna Redang Island Resort Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jul)
Short Getaway at Laguna Island Resort
Laguna Redang Island Resort, set against a backdrop of silky smooth, sparkling white sand, crystal-clear waters and emerald hills. There is a small house reef at the corner of the beach just in front of this hotel, which makes it great for a quick snorkeling. However during peak holiday period (June - July), the hotel is nearly full with guests. The snorkeling trips that depart at 9.30 p.m. and 3.30 p.m. are in large boats which are crammed with guests. So if you go on this particular snorkeling jaunt, be prepared to see more people than fishes ;) On the other hand, the rooms are clean and well kept, great swimming pool and staff are attentive. If you like quiet resorts like I do, probably go during the off peak period (Feb - April, Oct - Nov).
Note: If you are a friend of sharks, at 5.30pm daily hang around the house reef as the staff will bring you out feeding the sharks. There are a few baby white tips sharks playing around the house reefs.

Penarik Beach Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Jul)
Best Beach 🌺
#celebratewithtrip
Pantai Penarik, Permaisuri.
Terengganu.
Highlight - Pantai Penarik is one of the key attractions of what Terrenganu's fine coast line has to offer.
It is one of the most beautiful beaches in Terengganu that is dotted with hundreds of swaying coconut trees and rustic sleepy fishing kampungs. Serene and breathtakingly beautiful, the beach stretches for miles.
Pantai Penarik offers a picturesque view of South China sea, with a stretch of breathtaking and clean beach. Visitors would never find it too crowded due to the long stretch of beach.
Driving along the Penarik coast is also a pleasant experience. Along the way, there are coconut trees shading the road and Malay village houses spotted here and there between the trees.

Penarik Beach
One of the cleanest beach in Terengganu as it does not suffer from overcrowded of visitors since the road to this beach is kind of tricky. But the journey and the view is completely worth it

Can't take my eyes on Penarik Beach
Penarik beach Kg Baru was an awesome place to put on a bucket list . The beach and village environment was superb and WOW it's great to spend time here. The only things that really matters was the lovely beach , coconut trees, village houses, cows, goats, chicken, lovely and friendly people and many more. It's feel like we go back to the past and realise that how wonderful life was before. I believe we should preserve this natural heritage for the future generations to taste and appreciate how great was nature were. I cannot take my eyes on what I see during my stay here. Live like local people mixed with them, makes me more appreciate them. See it to believe it. Everything was so good and fantastic. definitely I will come back again. I love this place ❤️
Heartwarming attracted beach!
Among one of the beautiful beaches in Terengganu that is filled with hundreds of coconut trees and fishing villages. The beach stretches for a few kilometers as far as eyes can see.
Pantai Penarik is one of the attractions of what Terrenganu's fine coast line has to offer.
The beach is serene and amazingly beautiful, the beach is widely stretches for miles away.
We can have a view of South China sea, with a stretch of clean beach. Terengganu’s beach is a bit unique as we would never find it too crowded due to the long stretch of beach.
Pantai penarik is located 90km to the north of Kuala Terengganu. It’s become an attraction for people to go for short vocation or picnicking in the weekend. Especially people from Kelantan,it will take only around 2 hours to reach there.
The most popular activities in Pantai Penarik is to
indulge our stomach with a delicous and mouth watering fried seafoods. The seafood is deep fried freshly and served with the sauces to the customers. There are a variety of seafood that you can choose for chef to cook like fish, squids, prawn , crab and more. Do not to worries, the seafood will never finish because you will find many restaurant selling the same things through out the beach. I ‘ve been tried a few differents restaurant and i found their taste more a less just the same.
If you linger the beach, you may come across with some fishermen either going out to sea or just returning with a boat full of their fresh catch. You can find pretty colourful boats in a row as well.
Do not worries if you wish to spend a night in that area , there are also a few homestay and lodges available for rent just make a selection based on your budget.
One of the stunning and beautiful lodges is Sekepeng Penarek. Situated near a fishing jetty in Kampung Mangkok which is next to pantai penarik. It is 30 minutes boat ride away from the islands of Redang, Perhentian and Lang Tengah. All five beach houses afford unobstructed views of the majestic South China Sea. Besides there are others hotel you can stay like Bayu Beach penarek, Pandan Laut Beach Resort and many more.
Come and experience this, surely you will never be regreted.
