There is also a classic interactive installation, the Narcissus Garden. The piece consists of 1,400 silver reflective balls with a diameter of 30 centimeters, some of which are placed on the ground in front of the water curtain wall, while the other is distributed within the Federal Courtyard of the Museum of Art, reflecting its surroundings for a fantastic visual effect. There are also big yellow and black balloons on the ceiling, a narcissistic garden restaurant and a wonderful Yayoi Kusama gift shop.

"Gaol" is just an old-timey word for jail, by the way. This place is intense. It's a real jail, and you can feel the weight of history there. It really hit me how many people suffered injustice during the gold rush. Definitely made me think. But then, to lighten the mood, I wandered into the State Library. Wow. Just wow. Melbourne really lives up to its rep as a city of literature. The architecture is stunning, the books are endless, and it's just a great place to hang out. You can tell it's a real social hub. And of course, no trip to Melbourne is complete without checking out the street art. Hosier Lane and ACDC Lane? Forget boring walls! These alleys are exploding with color and creativity. The ride up to the Skydeck was super smooth and quick, and before I knew it, I was 297 meters above the ground, looking out over the stunning Melbourne skyline. The views are absolutely unbeatable, especially at sunset when the city turns into a sea of lights. One of the coolest things I did was the Edge experience. Imagine standing in a glass cube that sticks out from the building, with the floor turning see-through right under your feet. It’s both thrilling and a bit scary, but totally worth it! You can’t take your phone in, but there's a pro camera to capture the moment. I also checked out the Voyager Theatre, where you sit in a special chair and wear VR goggles for a 5D tour of Melbourne.
