Albanian Alps with beautiful waterfalls
#gohiking
this is one of the most beautiful national parks I have ever been to! I spent 2 ‘nights in theth national parks just for hiking. there are few really famous hiking routes you can do. the waterfalls, the blue eye and there is another one cross country trek which is not really accessible during the winter times! it takes around 6-8 hours to finish the 2 hikes quite challenging! yet it’s doable and there are few restaurants you can refuel!
beautiful castle with amazing view!!
this is one of the most famous attractions in Shkoder, Albania. this city is not too big, and this castle offers panoramic view of the city and it’s beautiful surrounding. the view is stunning and fascinating. it provides the view of Shkoder lake, the south of the city and the city itself.
the castle itself is pretty big, it takes some time to visit and walk around. there are few things you need to remember if you’re travelling with kids or toddlers. there is no safety railings, so be careful and pay attention to your kids.
the entrance fee is not too much, you can get there by car or just walk, the view from the top is def worth spending these 3 dollars! #passionpassport #gooutside #mountainview #bucketlistreboot
The most amazing hiking spot in Albania
The beautiful national park is located in the Albanian alps. it only took me few hours on the bus from Shkoder to get to Theth. the bus ride itself was amazing, what a scenic route to get to Theth national park.
there are few hiking trails you can do. The first one I did was the waterfall, it took me around 45 minutes. then I went for the sec hike which was the highlight of my je day- blue eye. it took me around 6-7 hours to go and come back. i ran into few friends from the last hostel, we did it together and there are some spots where you are able to take a break.
blue eye itself was not that impressive, but the hike itself was quite challenging, and you walk pass by lakes, and surround by mountains.
I’ll def recommend this place to people who enjoy hiking#passionpassport#gooutside#mountainview and mountains #travel Photography #nationalpark
Komani Lake Tour
Hellish mountain ride followed by a great boat trip at Komani lake all the way to Lumi Shoales. Cool way to see the mountains around the area.
Don't miss the picturesque Rozafa Castle, a World Cultural Heritage Site!
🇦🇱 Located in Shkoder, the second largest city in Albania, Rozafa Castle is an important military fortress guarding Shkoder. Although it is now in ruins, it records the vicissitudes of history and bears witness to the rise and fall of history. It is listed as a World Cultural Heritage Site for its unique historical and cultural value.
⛳ Rozafa Castle was built on a 130-meter-high mountain and was first built by the ancient Illyrians in the 4th century BC. It was occupied by ancient Rome in 168 BC, and later ruled by the Serbian Empire, the Eastern Roman Empire, Bulgaria, the Republic of Venice, and others. In 1479, it fell into the hands of the Ottoman Empire, and in modern history, it has been through many ups and downs.
✔️ Castle features:
1⃣️ The road to the castle is steep and paved with stones, which have been polished very smooth by the traffic of people and horses over the years, so be careful when walking;
2️⃣ There are two gates to the castle, the first gate has a small courtyard, and then through a 10-meter-thick passageway, you officially enter the interior of the castle;
3⃣️ The walls of the castle are only left with outlines, and the remains of buildings such as palaces and churches are only left with frames, with ruins and weeds, giving a sense of decadent beauty;
4⃣️ The castle is surrounded by water on three sides, surrounded by the Buna River, Drin River, Kir River, and Lake Shkoder, and from the castle platform, you can see the whole city of Shkoder, which is very impressive;
5⃣️ When the blue Lake Shkoder comes into view, the sparkling lake water reflects the red-roofed and white-walled buildings, churches, and bridges, and the layers of the picture stretch into the distance, which is very fairy-tale and beautiful;
6⃣️ If you arrive at the attraction by car, you will need to change to a minibus to go up the mountain.
📍 Address: On a mountain southwest of Shkoder, Albania, about 3 km from the city center;
⏰ Opening hours: 9:00–19:00
💰 Ticket: 200 Lek (equivalent to RMB 15.59)
🚗 Transportation: You can take a bus from Shkoder to the castle (about every 40 minutes).
Experience the Wild Beauty of Montenegro!
Stroll through Montenegro and enjoy the picturesque scenery and fascinating flora and fauna of the national parks, as well as many other special places and nature reserves, and experience the wild and unique side of this country! However, in winter, when the snow falls, everything becomes quiet and mysterious, attracting people to explore! 🌳❄⛰️
1. Durmitor National Park
Durmitor National Park is located in the northwest of Montenegro, adjacent to the Tara and Piva Rivers, with 48 peaks over 2,000 meters above sea level and the deepest canyon in Europe. The 18 glacial lakes, known as the "Eyes of the Mountains," are all located above 1,500 meters above sea level, the largest and most distinctive of which is the Black Lake, surrounded by forests. Medjed Peak stands by the lake, which is also the best place for hiking.
2. Lovcen National Park
Above Kotor, proudly overlooking Cetinje, and occasionally seeing Budva, the beautiful Lovcen Mountain is a symbol of freedom and respect in Montenegro. The national park is named after Mount Lovcen, which has a rich flora and fauna, with more than 2,000 species of plants. The national park is 70% forested, with many endemic species, medicinal herbs, herbs, ornamental plants, and honey plants.
3. Lake Skadar National Park
Lake Skadar is about 20 kilometers from the Montenegrin capital of Podgorica. It is the largest lake in the Balkans and a complete natural oasis, home to 270 species of birds (including the Dalmatian Pelican). Take a boat tour and enjoy the water lilies covering the lake, flocks of birds, various islands, and ancient architectural ruins emerging from the lake.
4. Biogradska Gora National Park
Biogradska Gora National Park is located in the northeast of Montenegro, surrounded by mountains, centuries-old forests, and wild meadows. Streams and ponds run through it, a gift from nature. The primeval forest covers an area of 1,600 hectares and is one of the last three primeval forests in Europe.
5. Prokletije National Park
The Prokletije Mountains are one of the most treacherous and unexplored areas in Europe, yet they are incredibly beautiful. These mountains are inaccessible, rugged, and wild, and locals call them cursed or forbidden areas. Hridsko Jezero, at an altitude of 1,970 meters, is one of the highest lakes in Montenegro and is known as the "Pearl of Prokletije."

Theth Albania Fall is Here
#fallishere
Albania Theth is really a heaven in the earth for me.
I reached Theth by a mini van from Shkoder city.I booked the hotel in Theth and communicated with the owner how to reach this place without follow the local tour.The owner told me he will request someone to pick me up from Shkoder Albania hotel.Theth for me is a quaint mountain village and one of the best places to visit in all of Albania! The landscape here rivals one you’d find in the Swiss Alps; the dramatic peaks of the Accursed Mountains look over the town and green fields filled with cows and goats.
People here are super friendly,not dangerous at all.You can spent 3 days here to relax and trekking.
Foods here is delicious 😋.Please give Theth a chance .

#celebratewithtrip
The Memorial House of Mother Teresa is located at Skopje, North Macedonia
This remarkable structure was not built where Mother Teresa was born or lived, but at the location where she was baptized
The memorial house consists of an amphitheater in the basement, a museum on the first floor, and a chapel on the top floor. The amphitheater is equipped with multimedia devices and it is used for special events.The museum on the first floor displays handwritten and printed documents signed by Mother Teresa, a number of objects that pinpoint different times of her eventful life, photographs of Mother Teresa with prominent figures. The portrait of Mother Teresa dominates the altar. Honorary masses are held to commemorate the life and work of Mother Teresa.
