Valbonë〜Theth Hiking③｜From Theth Village to the 'Blue Eye'

A 16km round trip to the hidden gem, the Blue Eye. After enjoying the breathtaking trail from Valbonë the previous day, we embarked on a hike from Theth Village to the 'Blue Eye of Theth,' despite feeling a bit of fatigue 🥾. The Blue Eye is a mystical spring nestled deep in the mountains, perfectly embodying the term 'hidden gem.' 🗺【Theth Village〜Blue Eye Hiking Information】 📍Distance: Approximately 16km round trip 📈Duration: About 2.5–3 hours one way, around 6 hours round trip 📍Difficulty: Intermediate (some ups and downs, but the path is well-maintained) ⛰ Along the hike, the soothing sounds of rivers and the majestic mountain views rejuvenate you, making the fatigue from the previous day fade away. 💧【Arrival at the Blue Eye】 As you approach the Blue Eye, the crystal-clear blue water comes into view. The emerald-blue spring is stunningly deep and transparent, exuding a serene and sacred atmosphere. The icy cold spring water is refreshing even if you just dip your feet in ✨ (You can swim, but it's too cold to stay in for long! Haha). 📌【Tips】 - Bring your own drinks and snacks (there are no shops in the area). - Although the path is well-maintained, there are slippery spots and steep inclines, so hiking boots are recommended. - The return trip is mostly downhill, making it feel relatively easier. 🌲【Reset in Nature】 Two consecutive days of hiking were tough, but the experience of reaching a hidden gem on foot left a lasting impression on this journey.
