[Food Tour] Tokyo Hatanodai Mochi Udon Kudoya Hatanodai Main Branch - Enjoy the unique fluffy and chewy udon
We will introduce "Mochi Udon Koutoya Hatanodai Main Branch" in Hatanodai, Tokyo.
It is located just a one-minute walk from Hatanodai Station, so it is easily accessible from the station.
This time, we had the
Mentaiko Cream Udon (¥940).
It was originally a winter-only menu item, but it seems to have become popular with women and has become a standard menu item.
Cream-based udon tends to get heavy towards the end, but this udon comes with a variety of toppings such as shiso, green onions, and deep-fried maitake mushrooms and yam, so you can enjoy the changes in flavor as you eat it.
The udon noodles are fluffy on the outside and chewy on the inside, just like mochi, and the noodles are made using a unique pressure cooker method, making them truly one of a kind 🤤
The deep-fried yam in particular has a gentle flavor like a single dish at an izakaya, and goes very well with the creamy udon broth 🤍
The service was quick and the turnover was good, so even though it was lunchtime, I had a very comfortable time.
They welcome people alone, and even people with strollers, so it's nice that you can visit with peace of mind even if you have children ☺️✨
One-day passes are sold along the Tokyu Line, which allows you to get on and off as many times as you like in one day, and Hatanodai Station is included in that, so why not get off along the way and try some unique udon?
