#wheretogo Coronet Peak boasts stunning views and is about 30 minutes from Queenstown. We took the Gondola to the top of the mountain. The ski resort was great with hiring facilities, cafe and lockers. Staff were friendly and helpful. They have plenty of space for first time and novice skiers and snowboarders. It was my first time skiing and it was fun (although i kept landing on my butt). Anyway, if you are not into skiing, you can just enjoy the gondola ride, soak up the views & enjoy a hot cup of coffee.
