They serve the hotel guests and also open for public. We have great experience here. Their foods and drinks are great, but quite pricey if its just for the dishes. But considering their views and panorama, and counting the design of the cafe itself, it was worth it. I recommend this place if you want to have a great lunch experience with a view in Berastagi. Mount Sinabung stands proudly in the Karo highlands, North Sumatra. His valor made the villagers on the slopes of the foot of this mountain choose to leave. Yes, as far as the eye can see, there is no human nose. Only the sound of the wind slowly rustling could be heard. Now the village at the foot of Mount Sinabung seems to be just a memory. Only rubble remains. The buildings and objects there seemed to be a silent witness to the bustling atmosphere of the village at that time. This village is also a tourist attraction. Entering this market makes me smile because there were many of my favorite fruits were sold here and in many variety of size. From mango, mangosteen, passion fruit, oranges. I also tried fruit that I rarely seen. Price wise is reasonable. Not only fruit, they are also selling flower seed. Close to the parking area, there are many small warung who sell young coconut and local snacks. Before commit to buy, asked for tasting sample which is a norm there. There are few stall selling hot food such as steam nuts and grilled corn. Outside the market there was a horse riding service (didn't ask the price) and some people peddling small souvenirs. Gundaling Hill stands at 1575m above sea level. The top of the hill gives you a panoramic view of Berastagi. A truly a picture-postcard to be savoured, this view. In the background, not too far away stands Mount Sinabong, which we were told erupted earlier in the morning. We could see smoke and ask spewing from the cone-shaped mountain. It was awe-inspiring! On the other side of the hill, we recognised Mount Sibayak which we had climbed just hours earlier. The garden on the hill provides a peaceful environment for family picnics or meeting of friends. We saw groups of young people posing with the mountain as backdrops. There were a couple of photographers who offered us to take our photos and print them instantly. Apart from that, we were not approached by any of the locals trying to sell their services or wares to us. As far as prop goes, there were statues of local heroes and the Mountain Princess named Beru Patimar but I couldn't get enough of the views of nature. #urbanexplorer #happylaborday #maydaytrip #givethanks

We found that our trip was satisfactory, most of the rides were tried except the thrill one. Entrance fee for kid below 90cm was free but not so many ride that they can play. But for toddlers who have > 100cm there are many rides to be tried. During our visit the place, there were not many people, some rides we played for two times in a row. The facilities were quite maintained (most of it). Park and landscape were the unique part from any parks in Indonesia. If you need a place to loud-scream, Here is the right place. Just get inside and enjoy all the thrilling rides. When you're done, relaxed at their playing zone (paid separately) or try another fun rides. If you're hungry, proceed to the Jungle Resto. We stay at Adimulea Hotel Medan… few hours to go Sibayak Mountain from Medan but the view make me want to go again there..

this is beautiful holiday resort and i had an amazing time. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean, and the views were breathtaking. The resort had plenty of activities to keep us entertained, from swimming in the crystal clear waters to relaxing at the spa. The food was delicious and there was a great variety to choose from. This place is perhaps one of the best holiday destinations in Sumatera among other funlands. It is very family friendly and offers many for us to enjoy (but they don't have roller coaster yet, so bad). For thise coming with kids with the height under 90cm, they donot have many to offer. But older kids or adults will find many games to enjoy. Prepare your own drinks and foods as what they sell on site may be too pricy for most visitors (i.e. a small bucket of popcorn cost us 25k). Other than this, Mikie is very enjoyable. Parking is free and its parking lot is large, with regular shuttle bus circulating to transport visitors to the main gate. One my favourite amusements theme park in North Sumatra. Easy to reach from Downtown Berastagi and alot of parking space. but during some holidays season it would be very crowded. i recommended to buy ticket via online to avoid long queue. Head out on this 6.9-km out-and-back trail near Karo, North Sumatra. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 4 h 32 min to complete. This trail is great for backpacking, camping, and hiking, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The way to climb Mount Sinabung is quite uphill, you will be treated to views of tomato, chili and corn fields at the beginning of the climb. This place is called Taman Alam Lumbini and it’s awesome. It's a replica of the Shwedagon Pagoda in Burma, Myanmar. It's the second highest replica after Burma and it's the highest pagoda in Indonesia and it recorded as a MURI (Indonesian Record Museum). It's worth it to visit and recommended place for religious tourism. The place is reachable and we can go there by any transportation. There is no entrance fee but you should give some fee for maintaning. There are some regulations like take off your sandals/shoes and put it on the place provided and do not bring your food and beverages. We can find a toilet and many small stores and booths which sell food and beverages close to there.
