The Charm of Rome on Via del Tritone

If you're traveling from the airport, you can take a train from Fiumicino Airport to Termini Station, then transfer to Metro Line A and get off at Barberini Station, from where you can easily walk to Via del Tritone. This area is also near the Trevi Fountain, making it a popular spot for tourists.
Via del Tritone is one of the main roads that cross the center of Rome and is well-known as a hub for shopping and culture. It features a variety of brand stores and upscale restaurants, with the Rinascente department store being a prime location for shopping enthusiasts. The area harmoniously blends historical architecture with modern commercial spaces, offering a unique experience of both traditional and contemporary Rome.
When I visited Via del Tritone, I was amazed by its vibrant atmosphere and the variety of attractions. For a shopping lover like me, it felt like paradise. The street is lined with numerous cafes and gelato shops, perfect for taking a break. Its proximity to the Trevi Fountain also makes it convenient for planning your sightseeing itinerary. However, it can get crowded during peak hours, so it's advisable to plan your visit accordingly.
Palatine: More than just a hill
When you buy a ticket to visit Rome’s ancient colosseum, you can also visit the Roman Forum and Palatine hill as part of the cost. Turn left on entering and you will be transported to the world of Augustus wandering through temples of various gods and palaces of its emperors.

Lake Como: The back garden of Milan
Depart from Milan and drive for half an hour to Lake Como. This quiet lake is surrounded by mountains, and the lake is clear and bottomless, like a beautiful picture. Stroll in the small town by the lake and feel the tranquility and beauty. Varenna, Bellagio, Lenno, each town has its own unique charm, especially those villas hidden in the lake and mountains, such as Villa Monastero, Villa Melzi and Villa del Balbianello, which are even more fascinating.
Dolomites: Green Wonderland in July, August and September
Continue north to the Dolomites. Here, July, August and September are the time when the grass is green, and there may be snow in mid-September. Drive for 4 hours from Milan to this fairyland. On the Alpe di Siusi, you can enjoy the magnificent sunrise and sunset. The Sporthotelsonne where we stayed has a great view. In addition, Ortisei and Val di Funes are also places not to be missed, especially the iconic small church in Val di Funes, which is impressive.

Ticking off our 3rd 7 wonders of the world after The Great Wall of China and the Taj Mahal in India. The Colosseum is an interesting one just because we stand corrected. A lot of what we knew were actually not facts 😂 But seeing it in real life was just as surreal and awe-inspiring as when we saw The Taj and The Great Wall. Such a piece of history that truly is a testament of how grand ancient architecture is. The historical significance that it holds will always be one of the 7 Wonders of the World.
I really suggest to be in a tour group as you will definitely learn a lot about the Colosseum and its historical significance.
TIPS:
1. Buy tickets in advance and trip app offers a tour for the Colosseum.
2. Wear comfortable shoes
3. Apply sunblock as it is very hot there.

I just checked in at the hotel in Rome, and the trip was full of expectations. What I was satisfied with was that it was very quiet, perfect soundproofing, and free red wine and water on the table. I drank half a bottle and was dizzy. The window is really big, and the view is very good. You can see the human-shaped shuttle downstairs. The bed is also comfortable to sleep in, but I'm not used to the European elevator. The space is very small, and then it's like it's about to fall aft. Overall, I'm still satisfied. Next time I come to Rome, I'll book this one.

There are a lot of flower arrangements in the lobby and public areas of the hotel. These florists are very hard-working. I remember going to the original store in Napoli a few years ago and the pizza was super delicious💗 I found out that there is also a branch in Rome , of course you have to reflect on it. Come and do like the locals and eat a big one in one person☺️ Your belly will feel so good!
I ordered Margherita con Bufala, the simple taste is great👍🏼The middle of the cake is soft and thin, and the mouthful is filled with the aroma of tomatoes and buffalo cheese.
The store's home-brewed beer 🍻 and fried food are also signatures, especially the famous Roman specialty Supplì, which is almost a must-order at every table. I ordered Supplì Alla Crema di Parmigiano, which is filled with semi-melted cheese and is super delicious.
You can't make reservations at this store, and you usually have to queue up at night. I didn't have to wait very long at my age, about ten minutes. Most of the people who come to eat are locals 🍕It’s past nine o’clock when we finish eating, and there are many people waiting for a table at the door! It’s a popular local store~

What a fascinating city this is. I have such fond and beautiful memories from my time here. With thousands of years of rich history and stunning beauty on every nook and corner, you could spend weeks and weeks on a Roman holiday.
The good is exemplary. Never have I found simplest of things taste this good. Every pizza or every pasta that I had was superb. The gelato's and coffee were another level. The architectural heritage of this city makes it a non stop museum with every other sight worthy of appreciation. Not to forget that Vatican, the world's smallest country also is within the limits of this city. So unique!
From my travel expericnes this was also the place where I saw the most well dressed being. And I don't mean overdoing of things like you see in say China or else where. (excuse the example). But here they did it effortlessly. Truly an impressive experience. #100waysoftravel #roma #italy

Visiting the Capitoline Museums in Rome was a highlight of my summer vacation in Italy! Located on Capitoline Hill, the entrance fee is around €15, which is a great value for such an extensive collection of art and artifacts.
The museums house incredible treasures like the ancient Roman statues and the famous equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius. I loved wandering through the grand halls and exploring the rich history of Rome. The views from the museums over the city are also stunning.
Afterwards, I enjoyed a stroll through the nearby Piazza del Campidoglio, designed by Michelangelo. The Capitoline Museums are a must-visit for history and art lovers looking to delve into Rome’s fascinating past. 🏛️✨

Trastevere (translated simply as “across the Tiber River”) is an old town with narrow cobbled streets, medieval houses covered with ivy, it is also called the “heart of Rome”. There are no crowds of tourists here and you can calmly walk, buy ripe apricots in a small shop, play with the owner’s dog, try on dresses by an unknown Italian designer, and then have an incredibly tasty dinner in a small restaurant, where the mustachioed Italian owner himself will take your order and feed you simply magical homemade pasta
What is a must see/visit at Trastevere? Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere (the oldest in operation, the first church on this site was before the reign of Constantine, and inside there is a very atypical mosaic a la Byzantine style) 8 courtyard

S.Pietro in Montorio is a good observation deck with an unusual panorama of Rome.
Oh, by the way, try the pizza at Trastevere! And one more thing - the price tag in restaurants here is much lower than in the tourist part of Rome.
