Experience one of the world's three blue cities, Jodhpur
There are three blue cities in the world: Jodhpur in India, Chefchaouen in Morocco, and Santorini in Greece. The blue of Jodhpur may not have the fairy-tale quality of Morocco or the romance of Greece, but it has a historical depth that surpasses both, making it a city rich in historical blue.
When we arrived in Jodhpur, it was already past 3 PM. After settling in at the hotel and resting, we rushed to Mehrangarh Fort before it closed at 5:30 PM. Upon getting off the TUTU car and seeing the majestic fortress towering on the hill, we were truly amazed. Passing through seven gates, we reached the wall with the blood handprints of the queens. Men went to war, and women jumped into the fire to follow their loved ones. Behind every ancient Indian fort lies a tragic love story. Leisurely strolling inside the fort, we visited some of the museums open to the public. Climbing to the highest point, we could overlook the entire blue city, resembling a sea of varying shades.
On the second morning in Jodhpur, we followed the navigation to find Toorji's Step Well, located near our hotel. It was the last photo we took in the blue city. Step wells, one of the most ingenious inventions of ancient Indians, have become a must-see landmark in India. The well resembles an inverted pyramid, with many steps on the surrounding walls, asymmetrical yet highly symmetrical. The wear and tear over the years have added to the historical feel of the steps, making them seem more like works of art.
Our brief visit to the blue city ended too soon, and we had to rush to the golden city without having the chance to fully savor this ancient city.

Rajasthan
Colorful Rajasthan is India’s most popular state with tourists for a reason. It’s everyone’s idea of “fantastical India.” The men wear out-sized turbans, the women wear neon-bright saris, camels and peacocks abound, and fairytale forts rise from the baked earth of the desert.
In Rajasthan, the traditional culture of India is very much alive and well, showcased in lots of lively festivals. Many people know of the Pushkar Camel Fair, but Jaipur is party town for the Elephant Festival on Holi and during the three-day Teej Festival in summer. Teej is a woman’s festival that celebrates marital bliss and the onset of the monsoon rains. Women dress up, dance, sing and enjoy swinging on traditional swing seats.
The desert state is also home to a cornucopia of traditional crafts. Block printing on cotton dates back to the 12th century, and you can visit block-printing workshops and buy beautiful clothing made with this technique. Jaipur is an important center for gem stones and several types of jewelry making, including enamel work. You can even visit a wholesaler, custom-making your own jewelry from semi-precious stones as a treasured souvenir.

84km north of Udaipur, the ancient Great Wall of Gumpelgar was built by the Rajput warrior to resist foreign aggression, similar to the Great Wall of China. This is a fifteenth-century castle built on a hill more than a thousand meters above sea level. The wall stretches for 36 kilometers. The width of the wall is so wide that there are enough places for eight horses to walk side by side. There are 360 temples in the fort, as well as numerous palaces, gardens, step wells and 700 turrets. There are still local villagers living in the village at the foot of the castle. Visitors who like to climb can visit this hotel through a car rental service provided by the hotel or travel agency. There will be a sound and light show every day here.

The land where the lords of Rajasthan in India live, if opened to a small part of the public, as a royal museum, the building itself is extremely luxurious, and the outer gallery is decorated with expensive old cars of the lord. The museum introduces the history of the past. The life of the lord, as well as the display of a part of the scene restoration. The most impressive thing is that the pets raised by the lords are lions and leopards. Isn't this the hobby of Dubai's local tyrants?....
The palace is located in a lush 26-acre garden. Designed by British architects, this yellow sandstone palace was completed in 1944 after 15 years and is considered to be the most popular geometric and streamlined Art Deco architecture. This 347-room royal palace mixes Eastern and Western architecture. The 105-foot dome building was influenced by the Renaissance style, while the tower's tower was inspired by the Rajput architecture, giving a noble but domineering feel.
