Yexian Tower|Zero-threshold Mountain Carting, Feel the Speed and Passion, Everyone Can Be the Akina Speedster
🏎 On the northeast side of Miyun District, Beijing, there is a small hill called Yexian Tower Scenic Area. There is an ancient tower from the Liao Dynasty on the hill, but visitors come here not to see the tower, but to experience mountain carting. Riding the cart, racing down the winding mountain road, feeling the real-life speed and passion; drifting in the corners, everyone can be the Akina speedster.
✨Must-try Activity:
🏎 Mountain Carting—Everyone should be the Akina speedster at least once in their life!
🛣 The Akina speedster comes from the Japanese anime "Initial D". Every time we see the protagonist racing in the show, our adrenaline surges, and we can't wait to race ourselves. But in reality, we can't play such dangerous racing games on mountain roads. However, at Yexian Tower, this wish can be fulfilled. The mountain cart here relies on gravity acceleration for power, and its principle is similar to that of a bicycle: the handlebars control the direction, and the brakes on the handlebars are used to adjust the speed. Therefore, it can be experienced with zero foundation and no driver's license is required. After a simple training, you can operate it. Racing down the winding mountain road, feeling the wind whistling past your ears like the melody of "Deja Vu"; lightly squeezing the brakes while cornering for a cool drift, listening to the tires screeching on the ground... At that moment, you feel like the dashing Akina speedster.
Other Highlights:
Yexian Tower—"Millennium" Liao Dynasty Ancient Tower
🗼 When you arrive at Yexian Tower Scenic Area, how can you not take a look at the main attraction, Yexian Tower? This ancient tower stands proudly on the mountain top, about 8 meters high, with an octagonal plane. The tower body is divided into upper and lower layers, surrounded by brick-carved fake windows and brick-carved decorations, showing a magnificent momentum. Although the scenic area promotes that this ancient tower was built in the Liao Dynasty and has a history of nearly 1,000 years, from many modern decoration details, it can be seen that it was rebuilt in recent years. However, this does not affect its status as a landmark of the scenic area.
Giant Map of China—Plant Engraving on the Slope
Another major highlight of Yexian Tower Scenic Area is the giant map of China on the slope. This map of China is surrounded by a Great Wall-style walkway, with lush vegetation in the middle. Except for being miniature, the details are not lacking at all, which is truly ingenious.
